We have been to Perry’s many many times. It is a place we go to for all our celebrations. We take all out of town guest, any excuse to go to Perry’s is used. I live in California but always go to perry’s when visiting. The service is beyond compare and the pork chop is the best . Occasionally I will get a different entree but most often it’s the pork chop I order. The noise level is a little high but sometimes we are placed into one of the side rooms and wow what a difference that makes. The portions are so large we always split the meals and even salads. Perry's has never disappointed me. Went recently (Aug 20, 2019) and had the appetizer portion of pork chop bits with the peach pecan salad and a glass of wine. My guest had the same, except a wedge salad. We ate in the bar and were able to transact business. The pork chop bits were delicious. Service was spotty, but not terrible, thus the loss of a star. We decided to try Perry's for our anniversary family dinner. We had 8 people and reservations and we let them know of the occasion. At first it was stressful as they said that the previous party was finishing their meal and there was not a good place for a large group to wait. The wait was about 20 minutes and we survived. They had rose petals on the table. The service was great. When you order the sides, know that they are large. The potatoes and macaroni could feed 4-5 people. I tried many of my children's dishes and found that they are very good with steaks. Also the lamb was excellent. I had the fish and it was pretty good but nothing like the red meats. Tonite, July 19th 2019 my husband and I chose Perry's as our Anniversary dining place, we are celebrating our 32nd year of marriage this evening . Within 30 minutes the power went out and rendered the restaurant unabled to serve any of the customers.Every Manager and Server kept us all informed of what was happening and did their best to make it as pleasant as possible. Normally I am not one to write a review or give feedback on a dinner (good or bad) BUT after my last visit to your establishment I felt I HAD to. We eat out alot more than we should, so when something this memorable happens I feel a responsibility to let management know. We had made a reservation for 10 to celebrate my daughter's graduation (her choice) and our entire party arrived a few minutes early prior to the reservation time. While waiting for our table (typically I expect a wait of 10 to 15 minutes), the Regional Manager came up to us and invited our entire group (kids and all) into the bar area for appetizers and a bottle of wine! This was completely unexpected but so incredibly appreciated (because of the event we were celebrating and because my wife and I love the Perry's Cab). We were informed by this same generous manager that they had overbooked that night and the wait for our large table was going to be extended by an additional 10 minutes. He also promised that the SECOND the tables were vacated that his staff would set a world record on how fast they could get it ready for us. And he was right! It was extremely quick and timed to perfection. The minute after we had finished our appetizers we were all escorted to the prepared table in true VIP style.We really did not have a huge issue with the extended wait, so this treatment was quite a surprise but GREATLY appreciated. Our long day had started off with a momentous occasion (my oldest daughter's graduation) and now the evening became almost magical! Needless to say we had EXCEPTIONAL service by our waitress and I can honestly say I have NEVER had a better dining experience (service, attention, and the melt-in-your mouth bone-in ribeye). Want another one just thinking about it. All of our food was truly out of this world quality (even for my hard to please parents). My steak was cooked to perfection, the wine that was suggested was incredible, and the desserts provided were loved by all. Perry's you have a customer for life!
