What do you love most about your job?
Helping dogs become the best partners that they can be. Being able to take your dog everywhere you go and knowing he has good manners is priceless!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Doing the puppy raiser program at CCI - I was amazed at all the tasks dogs perform for the disabled!
Why should our clients choose you?
Dog training isn't just about the dog, you have to connect with the owner/handler as well. You are really training them and they train the dog :)
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, I can. It is not my preferred way of training but it is doable. The client can contact me via email or phone and we can set up a time to chat about their needs and expectations and confirm the training session
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We take all necessary precautions when doing both group classes which are held outside (small classes 3-4 students) and private lessons by not sharing equipment and keeping a safe distance. Students may wear masks and there are wipes and sanitizer really available.
CGC and PAT Certification
I teach impulse control techniques to help owners and their dogs pass the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and PAT (Public Access Test) to qualify for service dog status.
Shelter Dog Rehab
Most shelter dogs suffer from fear and low self esteam. Working with them to make them more confident and trusting of their handler is the first step in rehab for these dogs.
