What makes a great website?
A great website needs to bring in new customers, and so must be ranked on the first page of Google. 90% of all searches never go past the first page so you MUST be there to be seen.
But that's just half the battle. The site needs to be modern, attractive and engaging so that the customer stays, once he or she finds you. It must be informative so that these searchers will know that you are qualified to handle their business.
Finally, the site must be easy to navigate and convenient for your customers to contact you.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We need to understand where our clients are currently and what their objective is. We need to find out about their target market and what excites them.
What do you love most about your job?
Every job is different and unique. We've done work for a hotel in Maui, a semiconductor firm in Hong Kong, and numerous businesses within Silicon Valley and throughout the United States. Not only does the location vary, but the niches or business types are incredibly diverse. Finally, our clients are without exception committed to improving their sales, marketing and communications. It's exciting to work with such dedicated people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
For me, corporate life was boring and the business I was in (the railroad) seemed to be 125 years of tradition unhampered by progress. I wanted to move on to actively working with people in different industries who wanted to excel and thrive.
