We recently relocated back to SoCal and had a planned trip to France (booked before we moved) from 3/14 through 3/23. We knew we could find a pet sitter in SoCal for our two beloved Burmese kitties but just ANY pet sitter won't do for us. We needed someone who not only is 100% responsible and trustworthy but also would care for our fur kids AND our home the same way we do. Well, that's Penny. Our fur kids were happy and well cared for and everything in our home was impeccably clean. Penny even bought them little toys and sent twice a day videos/photos and text reports letting us know the fur kids were happy and content. Oh, and she also left us a daily written report! Awesome! As an animal lover, I have worked as a volunteer for 5 shelters/rescue groups, wolf handler for pack of 6, caregiver to retired movie star animals including 6 penguins.  Not to mention previously employed as contract worker for 2 Pet Sitters in Orange County companies.  Penny's gift for befriending and caring for my 2 dogs eclipsed even my experience.In the 2 years I've served as guardian for a feral golden retriever, Maddy, who was rescued in Taiwan I had never been spent a night away from her.  Permitting anyone other than myself to even hold even hold Maddy's  leash (she bucks like a bronco) Maddy refuses to be touched by anyone but me.My other dog, Skippy, loves everyone but I dared not allow him to be walked as they've never been separated.  So what beside feeding and potty pickup could a pet sitter do?Here comes Penny who had Maddy eating out of her hand at first visit. Say what?  Penny has a near magical way with animals and found creative ways to engage my fear driven dog.Penny proceeded to bring her pets, Oreo and Snickers, to turn every visit into a doggy play-date.  Then she brought 2 friendly pups she was pet sitting and made my backyard a small dog park. (Penny had my authorization to do so.Daily she brought treats and toys to my furbabies and sent multiple videos showing the 6 dogs playing together.  Rather than feel guilt spending Christmas away, I was glad that Penny opened the horizon of comfort for my feral dog.Her first visit during Christmas rush, whereby I'd expect 20 minutes in my home, resulted in an hour plus visit.  Upon my return I only wish I could afford Penny 's services to continue to acclimate my fear driven Maddy to learn to trust humans. Penny's prices are reasonable and a bit higher than some, but what with gifts for both me and my pups over Christmas, and her self-motivation to  put my dogs' need beyond paid time to sit, made her the best deal available.  I'll never settle for less as long as Penny is available!* Expect videos or pictures on each visit**Penny's contract advises she does not accept aggressive dogs.  But shy or fearful pets are her forte. Best Dog Sitter! Like leaving your pooch w/Family!!! You'll never ever have to worry about your pooch while w/Penny. It's a great crate free environment. Penny takes the time to take your pooch to the park and let's your pooch play w/other great dogs. I only trust her w/my best boy. Our pups love Penny! After having some bad experiences with pet sitters Penny is a breath of fresh air and a relief to my husband and I. Penny truly loves and enjoys caring for our pets, taking our dogs on fun walks and making sure they get out there energy as well as getting some TLC. Penny is the cat whisperer. We went to Big Sur for three days and Penny took care of Simon for us. You might think that feeding a cat twice a day and scooping his litter is no big deal, but Simon is a handful to say the least. Penny sent us some pictures and a video the first night. Our internet was really poor up there, but we got the video and there was Simon, on his back being a sweet kitty for Penny. She brought him a little toy and he didn't try to rip her hand up when she dangled it in front of his face. We knew he was in good hands after we saw that. Right from the start you can tell Penny has a good heart!I've used Penny for dog sitting for the last two years. She's awesome! She recently took care of my two little chihuahuas for four days while I traveled. They can be very timid and fearful, but they just love Penny. I felt very confident they were in safe hands. She sent pictures and even left a daily journal of their activities every day. She also brought them treats and a toy!One of my dogs needs heart medication and Penny gave him the meds with no problems. I definitely recommend Penny for dog sitting. She's the best! More...

I use Penny when ever I go out of town. Â I travel for work and she takes care of my pups for me and I've even called her with less than a 24 hour notice and she's always happy to help. Â Recently my daughter and I went on vacation and she watched my daughters dogs. Â She wrote a daily log and took amazing care of her pups. I love Penny!! And so does my dog Chewie! I recently got married out of town and had to find someone to watch my separation anxiety ridden dog. I found Penny on yelp and she was gracious enough to let Chewie and  I come to here home for a meet and greet visit to see if he would feel comfortable there and sure enough after a good amount of time he was roaming around like he owned the place. Chewie stayed with Penny for the weekend and Penny was kind enough to even send me an email update during his stay! When I picked him up he seemed so content and happy. I was very surprised because usually he freaks out when he sees me and this time he was happy to see me, but still running around her house playing with toys and stealing bones from the other dogs.. haha.. I could not have been happier!Penny is so lovely, kind, and truly an animal lover. I met Penny through Yelp, and we're thankful for finding her. We were gone for 2 weeks to Paris and Rome, and had to leave 3 cats. Penny thoughtfully wrote a little diary of each day, took care of our house, watered, mail, cleaned 3 litter boxes, and gave us peace of mind. We also felt we found a friend for life. I first met Penny when we were holding a Memorial for my Mom who passed away last March. Â I was so impressed with her handling of our 2 dogs that I knew I would always call her if I needed a pet sitter. Â Recently, I had to find a home for Mom's dog and ironically Penny saw the ad and personally made sure she got a good home. Â She is an animal advocate and truly loves all animals in her care. Penny has looked after my Dachshund a few times over the last couple of years, and he always loves it. Penny is friendly, and takes totally personal care of your pet, she'll take them to parks, to play with balls, she even took my dog boating once which he loved!

We've had Penny care for our cats several times over the past few years. She is fantastic as a professional pet-sitter! Â She engages our cats in playtime, makes sure the boxes are cleaned and always lets us know an update. Â Penny is so much more than someone who comes in to feed the cats. I trust that she'll be engaged with my "kids" Â on a level that respects their personalities and social needs. Â I don't come home to neurotic animals.
