We got last minute rain, hustled so hard between the serving tent and dining tent, and kept a positive attitude. Â Some servers got soaked but continued to smile. Â Worked with us on the menu, and any additional suggestions of requested we had, they even made some h'our deurs off menu! Â We looked forever for a caterer in our price range, and were so happy with the quality and price point with Penninsula. My company just recently celebrated the opening of our new office location in SSF. I used peninsula catering for our event which hosted 250 employees, alumni, and clients. Stephanie and Wendy were a pleasure to work with. Very friendly, punctual, listened to what I wanted and organized. Previous to our event I had asked Stephanie to come out to our office to go on a walk through. She and Wendy worked with me to create a beautiful spread of food for the event that lasted from 4-7. They even created food tags with our company logo on it. Very nice attention to detail. On top of the food I used them for flowers. Very pretty! I have attached photos from event. I'm a Conference Room Attendant at a Corporate Law Firm in the Peninsula, and I must say that Peninsula Catering by far is the best in this area! Â They are efficient, and accommodating. Â I've had nothing but outstanding service by them. Â Frederick, Sylvia, and Stephanie, are a pleasure to work with, and they always try they're hardest to help us in anyway they can when it comes to our catering orders. It's interesting to see negative reviews on here, particularly because we had such a WONDERFUL experience. I booked Peninsula Catering for a Halloween Party that had almost three times as many RSVPs than anticipated (leading to a last-minute need for real catering). Diana was my first point of contact and cheerfully got me a quote to me much quicker than I was expecting. She followed up several times leading up to the event, checked for any last minute needs the day before, and inquired how everything went when she arrived in the office on Monday. The on-site team (Wendy, Luis, Araceli, and Leoncio) was prompt and efficient, they clearly know what they are doing and had some good suggestions for the set-up. Their bar tending and replenishing the food, which I'm used to running around doing, was on point. The menu was perfectly themed for the party,the presentation was wonderful, and the food tasted great! We got raving reviews from the 200+ attendees - both kids and adults. I haven't heard a negative comment. I had previously arranged for dessertMy first experience with the company was at a friend's engagement party last spring, at which I was impressed with their service and food. We placed and order with Stephanie and she made the ordering process very easy! The order was delivered on time and the food was amazing. We ordered for 14 people chicken with asparagus, mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, fruit salad and drinks. They delivered compostable forks, knives and plates. A coworker suggested I look at Peninsula Catering to provide catering for the office lunches I host in San Francisco and the Peninsula area. I am so glad that I did! I have worked with them for a couple months now and have been repeatedly impressed by their menu and service. I absolutely LOVE them! They catered my 110 person wedding last year when they were just starting out to do big events like weddings and they were above and beyond awesome! I had them do simple appetizers and had the chicken and pasta with scalloped potatoes which were heaven!Everyone was raving about how great the food was and they were also very reasonably priced. Â They beat out 4 other catering companies that I researched by a lot!They also provided beautiful flower centerpieces for the buffet and appetizer tables in my colors along with really nice linens that I got to pick out as well!I will definately use them again!! I've ordered from dozens of caterers in the area and Peninsula is one of the best.  Peninsula Catering is very service oriented.  They'll do their best to accommodate every customer. Everything from lunch boxes, to dropping off big salads and sandwich platters, setting up a hot lunch in chafing dishes, or providing full service at your event.  Great appetizers and side dishes.  Any chicken, BBQ, oven roasted, teriyaki, lemon caper, all great.  Love their grilled salmon and cilantro rice, and their veggies are always good - not soggy and overcooked.  HUGE, beautiful salads!Another reviewer said something about it being greasy, and I'm wondering what they had. I order from Peninsula a couple of times a month, it's never been greasy OR over salted, but I do try to stick with healthy options. I've never had their stuffed meats - the mozzarella stuffed chicken sounds like it's pretty rich. They use organic meat, poultry, fruits and vegetables and are very conscientious about serving fresh dishes.  And be sure to order a platter of assorted brownies or cookies, they are outstanding!Keep their number handy because if you're ever in a pinch, they're one of the only caterers in town that can get you great food in a moments notice. You can't get any better than Peninsula Catering.  I have used them for all kinds of parties.  The food that they present looks beautiful and tastes even better.  We always order extra so that guests can have doggy bags and we can have leftovers for a few days.Everything about the service is top notch, from assisting with the menu selection through the delivery and set-up and down the to clearing.  Trust me, this company can handle every need or whim.  Once they even  provided a chef to come and cook omelettes to order for a Sunday brunch.You'll find excuses to throw a party once you've sampled their menu. I hired Peninsula Catering for my daughter's First Birthday/Christening celebration. Â I was impressed with the variety of food choices on their menu and that their prices were very reasonable. Â Patricia was our contact person and she was very helpful. Â Our guests loved the food! Â They raved about the spring salad, lemon chicken, tri-tip and especially the scalloped potatoes!
