Pecatonica String Quartet

Holy cow was Amber easy to work with. She was quick to respond to our requests and questions along the way and was easy going in the process. Adam and I had no idea what we wanted for songs, and Amber spent a lot of time playing sample songs for us to decide each component of our day. Pecatonica quartet responded quickly to my phone calls and emails. Their website is very helpful. Amber was able to help solve some of my concerns. The only thing I would like to improve is the opportunity to meet them before the wedding for my us was difficult because we live out of state. But everything else was great! More...

Over all I loved the music the Pecatonica String Quartet played for our wedding ceremony. They were professional and played beautifully. They were also available on fairly short notice - two months before the ceremony.
The one problem was that the main contact person was not available to play in our ceremony, so I believe the music requests got mixed up. The 2 readings were each supposed to have one song played, shortly, until the reader got to the podium. Instead, one long piece was played after the second reading, with silence in between.
They did play very well, and were able to even learn a new piece (for a fee) that we wanted - the Star Wars Throne Room theme!
Over all I enjoyed having their live music and beautiful arrangements played. I just wish we had gone over the ceremony program once all together. More...
