What inspired you to start your own business?
In 2013, I got certified as a dog trainer so that I could help my own rescue dog, Duke. He struggled with resource guarding and leash reactivity and I knew that I wanted more than just to get training, I wanted to help others like Duke. After over 10 years in the industry, I knew I had what it took to strike out on my own and help others.
Why should our clients choose you?
At Paws & Kisses, we focus on listening to your needs as a client and using the LIMA approach to training: Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive. This means that we are going to look at all the factors contributing to your dog's acting out, get you and your dog on the same communication page, teach your dog what they are supposed to do, and teach you how to set clear boundaries, ethically and humanely. This approach works for nearly all dogs, including aggressive, bite risk, and bite history dogs.

Yes, we absolutely can serve you remotely, and have had great success with clients that have gone this route! Although, if you are local and available, we do recommend you consider going with an in-person option for the highest chance of success.
Virtual 1:1 Training Sessions
In these virtual training sessions, clients gain the education and skills they need to gain their dogs' attention and deepen their desire to work for you instead of against you!
Record any and all sessions for future review (private use only) and send videos of your struggles and progress as needed to get the very most out of your sessions.
You'll receive real time feedback and coaching from a professional that has worked with hundreds of dogs so you can grow your skills with someone you trust no matter where you are in the world, at a time that works for your schedule!

Better-Than-Board & Train Package
Get better than your usual "Board & Train" by having your trainer work on the obedience and behavior issues in your own home. Feel free to be home or not, but results are MUCH better when the dog doesn't have to try to transfer skills learned elsewhere and fight his/her ingrained bad habits when they are done!
