Shelly is wonderful to work with. She is great at demonstrating the commands and has examples to help remember and understand the why of it all.
She is very observant and can show us what we are doing wrong or what we could do better. She gave us easy to follow daily homework so we could practice and be ready for the next session. She is a fast talker, so a great deal of knowledge is gained. She has lots of recommendations for products, foods, and enrichment activities. We are first-time dog owners, so the training was more for us than for our puppy.
I highly recommend her services.

I am a dog lover first, and a dog trainer second. I know from first-hand experience the difference dog training makes in the relationship between dog and owner. Without professional training it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation will occur.

My name is Shelly Kitchen and I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College where I earned my certifications as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Animal Behavior College (ABC) is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education and is an internationally recognized school. My year long commitment to this program has provided me with a formal education in canine obedience training and understanding behavior and its motives. My certification, education and experience provide me the skills required to effectively and humanely train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog so special to you.

Certified Dog Trainer
You can love your dog but you must know how to Lead your dog. Puppy & Potty Training, Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Loose Leash Walking, Trick Training and Problem Solving. I am a Certified Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College. I provide private in-home Dog training sessions. $100 to $70 each session depending on how many sessions you need. The first session is an hour and a half and every other session is 60 mins. afterwards. We can discuss the packages and perks after we do a session with your dog so you know how much work is involved and you can pick the package that best fits your budget and your needs. We will go over all of that at our appointment.
My hours are Tuesday through Sunday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
