This place is super .. not only a great place for lunch with very good lunch special s but also a great place after a hard day of work for a cold brew . . our waitress Abby was outstanding .. she timed our service perfect.. not every sec.. asking if we need anything .. or serve and forgot in waitress hell... Checked another burger off the list. This time I got the Sullivan's. Never have had a burger with grilled pineapple on it but I really did like it. Fantastic wrap and very good size portion which I was worried about. I'm visiting South Carolina for family weekend and I had heard a lot of talk about this place and how it was featured on Guy Fieri's, "Diners, Drive in's, and Dives. " When we seated at a table in the back not near many people. We asked the waitress, Anastasia, to switch tables to somewhere not in the back so we could really experience the atmosphere. The waitress was very polite and switched our tables within seconds. She took our orders for drinks right away and they came within 5 minutes. Next she took our order for our main meals. I ordered the Caw Caw Creek, with a side of sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Let's start with the burger. It was served with a big knife right in the center which made the display very nice and simple. The jalapeño spread on the burger was delicious. Not too spicy and the taste was amazing when out on a crispy brioche bun, bacon, caramelized onions and pickled tomato. The burger itself was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was very thick and juicy. I can definitely understand why Guy Fieri likes it here. The sweet potato fries were seasoned in cinnamon sugar and I personally have never had this before but man was it good. The crispness yet softness to the fries were so perfect and the cinnamon sugar made it 10x better. The coleslaw wasn't anything special but it was still very good. Our waiter checked in on us often throughout the whole meal and even took our picture when she knew it was a very busy time. I overall think this is a definite return to spot. Another week another burger. Got the Caw Caw Creek this time and definitely enjoyed it. Another more mature taste to it but was definitely a unique burger. Had to get it with a pretzel bun this time and glad I did. I prefer pretzel buns than regular sesame seed buns wherever I can. Had to go with my cinnamon sugar tossed sweet potato fries of course with a side of chipotle mayo. Will be back to creep towards my goal of tasting all the burgers. Till next time! More...
