This is my second visit (four years ago) to Pat's and it's just as good as I remembered it! I was there for lunch and it was pretty busy, but my server Lori (she's great! ) was right there taking my drink order and once that came she got my food order and it was out in no time at all. All of the food was great and their Brisket Chili is off the hook wonderful! I know the next time that I'm in town, I'll be over to Pat's for some great BBQ!!! :) More...

Went on a Thursday for lunch. Nobody at the walk-in entrance to take care of the uninitiated customer (they might have been pulled away) but eventually someone took care and sat us. The server, Audrey, was attentive and on her game. I had a quarter rack of ribs: the best BBQ I've eaten since Mississippi. I can't speak for other's food or service experiences but mine was spot-on. So go there with an open mind: the restaurant layout might be a bit confusing and the staff might be over-tasked, but the ribs are worth the effort and price. More...

The food here is so good. If you're going in a group get the family meal.  It comes with soooo much food.  Personally the pulled pork is my fav.  Atmosphere is great and charming.

I feel like we went to a different place than what you all are talking about regarding the service. Our waiter Nathan was amazing, super helpful with the menu and attentive as was the woman who sat us and brought out drinks, Chanterelle. AND our food came within about 5 minutes of ordering and the place was plenty crowded. I got the Famous Smoked Meatloaf that had been featured on DDD and really enjoyed it. As another reviewer said, it's not like the meatloaf you're used to that's like a burger consistency but was very tender and full of flavor. My husband had the 2 meat combo and it was a lot of meat! The brisket did not disappoint and the pork ribs were off-the-bone juicy. Corn bread was tasty, cole slaw is mustard and vinegar based so if you like that, you'll like this. We had my hubby’s 65th birthday bash at Pat’s tonight. I can’t say enough good things about our entire experience. The staff was so helpful and great to work with. I’ve been bugging poor Audrey almost daily while planning this surprise event. She was so patient and helpful. Robert , the owner was super great as well, and our waitress, Angie worked her tail off to make sure we were well taken care of. It goes without saying that our food was fantastic, perfectly prepared and in abundance!! Everyone was so impressed. Thank you thank you Pat’s BBQ for making tonight everything I hoped for!!! Hands down greatest service!! From the first contact I had with Shantell down to the delivery person to the owner!! I placed a catering order for a company lunch (which I am sure was possibly short notice to them, but they didn’t seem to lead on it was) and Shantell was nothing short of amazing to ensure our order was just as we desired! ! We received our order but were missing two items and didn’t catch it until the guy who delivered it left (I have no idea his name but he was still very kind based off the short interaction I had with him). When we discover this I called the restaurant and the girl I spoke with was very apologetic and quick with a resolution to either offering to bring the items (which wasn’t very close) or compensation. We needed the items for employee so opted for them to be brought to us. I just have to say, I was amazed at how fast Robert (the owner) brought the items to us!! I was expecting the same delivery guy but for the owner to take time and bring it really set them apart from the rest!! We will definitely be doing future catering with Pat’s Bbq!! More...

We decided to try it after hearing about it on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives. It did not disappoint. It's a hole in the wall restaurant in the best way possible. We visited Pat's BBQ for the first time the other day. For years, we'd heard about how good it was, and the food definitely lived up to the hype. Service? Not so much. We visited at ~2:00 PM on a Saturday, and it took us a few minutes going back and forth between a couple of different servers to get seated. Our server, Angie, was energetic and personable, and obviously took pride in her work, especially when it came to explaining how the new menu worked and what was good. We decided on a couple of Philly's, I chose smoked turkey and hubby got brisket. The sandwiches were delicious, especially the pickles and Creole black beans. I particularly liked that the hoagie rolls were buttered and toasted, but hubby had to ask 3-4x for a side of ranch with his fries, and it took awhile to get our check because it had accidentally been charged to another table. To Angie's credit, she admitted she was having a bit of an off-day -- hey, I'd rather have someone be honest than act like they don't care. Lapses in service aside, we really enjoyed the food and would definitely visit Pat's BBQ again should the opportunity arise. More...
