The Macaroons cookies were very good but they ought to be for 3 dollars a piece. $4.50 for one chocolate croissant total for 6 cookies and croissant over $24 dollars! Thank heavens my husband paid for it. But I had to hear about it all the way home. More...

not sure why everyone is complaining about the macarons. they were delicious! my personal favorites were the lemon and chocolate ones. we also got napoleon and other dessers and they were delicious as well! my family and i just went up to the counter to order. it took a little while, but the cashier/worker was very nice to us! she even offered samples to us, too, and gave us recommendations. worth the wait because the desserts were amazing. Look, when I want to check the authenticity of a French bakery I check one thing. I get that Kwa-son. Here at Camille's the kwa-son has a rich buttery aroma with slightly caramel notes. It's structurally beautiful with a well browned flakey exterior. The inside is pillowy and gives way to the teeth with ease.I'm sure the entire menu is great. You don't make kwa-son like this without mastery of your craft. More...

First, without tasting the menu yet, the story of a young immigrant family man and business owner speaks to the American dream. When i walked in today with my mom, (use the patio door entrance) we were taken in by the smells from the kitchen, the interesting palette on the menu, and the cute dining area with local artists works on the walls. I am so glad i picked this place for mothers day, because the experience left me wanting to try more food and chatting with the friendly staff! I asked a sweet waitress about the local art and was really happy to see talent from buffalo included as part of the dining experience. You seat yourselves after ordering at the front counter, you are given a number and then your order is brought to you. I ordered the bonjour paris, and my mom had the reclette. I am reminiscing about that meal hours after digesting it, i wish i had more haha! Both of our meals were savory and delicious and the perfect portion. We were full but not so over stuffed where you feel like your pants are going to burst open like a can of biscuits. I appreciated how the pastry area is open and you can see things being made and displayed. I value quality over quantity and having the owner greeting people as they come in, saying thank you, and smiling even after the chaos that is the restaraunt business- you cant put a price on that. I will definitely be coming back to show support for the vision that has been created. There is something for everyone here, even if youve never had french cuisine before. Yours truely, a retired army veteran passionate about people and the unspoken thing that makes us unique. Hope this helps someone! More...

I've now been 3 times, tried 7 menu items. All were amazing. Camille himself is usually there. Great French shop to stop for breakfast, lunch or dessert. Comfortable, nice atmosphere. Prices are avg. to above avg. But reasonable for the quality of food you're getting. Love this place, and I will continue to return. More...

When in Buffalo go French? No? Yeeeeesss, oui, oui! Pastry by Camille is a sweet surprise. From the special salads, soups, and sandwiches, to the classic french baguette with gruyere and ham. The lemon meringue pie was perfection, with a marshmallowy topping and burst of zesty citrus that when paired with the foamy cappuccino, was like a superbly conducted symphony orchestra in my mouth. This place is a must visit when in Buffalo. A true piece of Paris in the Queen City. Oh, and are the fries legit as the fryer is French?! Haha.... I give this sweet Parisian place 4.5 yums and thumbs. Thumbs are definitely up for this one. More...
