A little over a year and a half ago I found out my husband was having an affair. In the midst of it, I found out he had had one before, also. Two affairs is hard to swallow. The Holy Spirit led me to Pastor Tom, and between he and God our marriage is totally restored. As a willing vessel, God was able to use Pastor Tom to help my husband see not only his own arrogance and narcissism, but to understand how his behavior over the course of our marriage had left me feeling alone and worthless. Our marriage was a sham and was in shambles. Working with Pastor Tom changed my husband and I learned how to see my own value apart from him. Honestly I dont know where my marriage would be if we hadn’t found Pastor Tom. His advice is incredible and very God centered. What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love it when I see relationships become healthy. A healthy marriage not only makes life so much more fulfilling and meaningful for the couple, but it also increases the chances that their children will have a healthy marriage and that their children's children will succeed in marriage, etc. etc. That is exciting!!!
What inspired you to start your own business?
50% of marriages end in divorce. The heartache that this causes is unmeasurable. God has given me a gift of helping to bring healing to marriages in crisis. I want to do all that I can to teach couples ways to get re-connected and stay connected.... FOR A LIFETIME!
Why should our clients choose you?
The combination of my low fees, my "tested and tried" worksheets and years of experience are difficult to find in other therapists/counselors.
MY METHOD WORKS...
I ask that each couple begin with 2 individual sessions with me, followed by 3 couples sessions. The individual sessions allow me to better understand each person’s point of view and they help me to get to the root of the problems faster. The couple will also complete a relationship assessment which I will review and discuss with them.
Most couples begin to see positive results within the first 3 sessions. Deeper healing takes place as we go beyond the initial sessions.
I ALWAYS HAVE TWO GOALS when I counsel couples:
1) Help to solve their most obvious relationship struggles
2) Help to build a foundation of relationship health
Many therapists ONLY work on the “felt needs” of the couple - their most obvious struggles. I however, want to give the couple the tools and understanding necessary to build a healthy, lifelong relationship. Like other therapists, I can help the couple get beyond the immediate pain that they are dealing with, but I desire health in ALL areas. My focus on the couple’s struggles (PLUS their foundational health) is why over 90% of the couples that I work with report significant improvement in their relationship.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. Definitely. In fact, I ONLY do counseling remotely. ZOOM works perfectly for counseling. It helps me keep my fees lower, plus it allows the couple far more flexibility as to when and where they can meet with me.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My counseling is all online, so Covid-19 concerns are not an issue.
Coaching - EXTENDED SESSION (90 minutes)
$110 per one EXTENDED SESSION (90 minutes). If you have only one particular issue in which you are needing advice, direction, a listening ear, a mediator, or someone to help the conversation be fair and stay on track... then this option is for you.
Coaching - 5 Session Relationship Health Package
$400 (5 SESSION RELATIONSHIP HEALTH PACKAGE) Five, one hour sessions. With the purchase of the 5 Session-Pack, you can schedule additional sessions for only $65 per session.
