This company has gone down at the end of 2023 and start 2024. My books were not close and ready, no chance to file 1099s and nothing was ready for 2023 tax filings. The customer success manager dares to ask for proof of what is not done. It seems that my inability to file taxes is no good proof, now I need to hire someone to fix the problem and audit the books to prove that the books were not done. And if you want to cancel, you still need to pay 2 months more, even when the services are not being provided. More...

Paro overbilled us by $2,500 and would not refund! STAY AWAY!
My holding company hired Paro, which is a finance staffing agency, to find us a bookkeeping company for our business to perform cleanup work for prior periods.
Prior to signing an agreement with Paro, we provided them with all of our bank records for all prior years that would be used to create the statement of work and range of hours for work to be performed. Â
Paro then provided us with a statement of work and agreement to sign, which provided a range of hours for the services to be performed between 10-15 hours at an hourly rate of $120, which at most, the invoice for the final work should have been $1,800.
Unfortunately, the final invoice amount for the services was 36 hours or $4,320.Â
When we complained, Paro only offered a $700 credit.Â
We chose to hire a finance staffing agency to avoid overbilling issues with a new bookkeeping service, which we expressed to them prior to signing the contract. When the overbilled invoice was sent to us, rather than attempting to hold the bookkeeping company to the estimated hourly range that they provided to us in the agreement, Paro chose to stand behind the vendor and not us, the customer.

WE signed up for SMALL job for small business. After seeing the 1st invoice that was way too large for tiny amounts of work, I decided to cancel.
it was not what we agreed and not fair at all! definitely a scam and fraud company !even after canceling we continued to be charged. There is no way for me to prevent them from pulling funds from my cc account or to delete my account. Terrible customer service- no one available to answer the calls. just STAY AWAY!!

Not sure about others but our experience has been a total disaster. Paro paired us with "Talent". After 3 weeks of no progress, the Talent sent me an email quitting in violation of their contract. Paro has been non-responsive. Our Paro contact is just ghosting us. Pretends to be available only to never take a call or meet to discuss the situation. There is no way to contact them and no way to remove my credit card from their automatic invoicing system. Will never use again and will be pursuing legal means of getting my money back. More...
