I've been here before, but it was a few years ago, and this week I visited again, for an entertainment industry mixer, and WOW, this place has been completely remodeled, and is very, very, nice inside. There is a bar, stage, and theater on the right side, and a micro-brewery, Abjuration Brewing, on the left. Very classy, and comfortable inside, and they support the local arts and entertainment industry by providing space for events, AND, they show movies too, and I think live music also, since there was a drum kit set up. The night I was there, they also had some local comedians performing in the theater ... very cool ... Cheers! More...

Great place! They have live bands(jazz), a movie theater, a brewery, delicious popcorn, a giant screen for penguin games. I've been here a handful of times and it has always been great . This small independent theater is small and very cozy. The feature many independent films. My husband and I would come here often to support this theater. If you have not come here yet, you need to support this small business. As a local Pittsburgher would say, what are yinz waiting for? My husband and I enjoyed a mango ic light at the bar before watching Apollo 11 in this nicely renovated movie theater. As we exited the theater, a crowd was playing trivia at the bar/restaurant area, with the owner using movie clips for the game. and all having a good time! Hope to try the brewery beer next time. The Parkway Theater is one of coolest spots in town. They have a nice lounge area, good selection at the bar, Abjuration Brewing is always creating new delicous small batch beers, and their 45 seat theater is nice and a perfect place to catch indie films and documentaries or have a movie date night. They also have live music from time to time which is nice. Definitely worth checking out and supporting this gem the city has to offer. More...
