Parker Gills Events

I used Parker Gills Events for my wedding and it was the SINGLE BEST DECISION I made in 2021 (besides marrying the love of my life)! ;) I searched vigorously for a company that (1) did full service wedding planning, (2) was Black- and woman-owned, and (3) was operated by someone who would be able to accommodate all of my requests that would unfortunately be considered "niche" by the billion dollar wedding industry. I'm eternally grateful that my search led me to Parker Gills Events because not only were my requests accommodated but they were celebrated by owner Bre Parker-Gills!

Bre is THE the most detail-oriented, visionary, and intentional event planner I've ever met. She fully embraced each requirement we had (LGBTQ-affirming VIPs instead of a bridal party? Check! 80%+ of vendors should be women and People Of Color? Check!), and advocated for our needs fiercely when working with vendors and venues. The only worry I had throughout the whole process was the constant reminder for my anxious-self to remember to have a great time on the day of!

The entire year leading up to our wedding was filled with us connecting with Bre on such an intentional level that I feel like she's become a part of our family – so much so that I will only plan events through her as long as my family is in Missouri.

Thank you Bre and Parker Gills Events for providing me with the wedding of my dreams! I will continue to sing your praises in this lifetime and the next. More...
