Sat at the bar. Server was attentive but not pushy or trying to rush me as I was working on my computer and answering work calls during my first round of drinks. Decided to stay for dinner. Absolutely delicious. LOVE their “Crazy Hour” where they have a very diverse menu of beer, wine, cocktails, and appetizers for only $3! Then happy hour prices are $5, which is still a steal for the quality. Their food is always wonderful and fresh, with uniquely delicious flavors. The ambiance is lively with doors that open making the entire restaurant seem that much bigger. They have a lot of outside seating with shade. Their service is phenomenal. It kills me to have to write this review because while it is one of my favorite bars around, it’s so inconsistent. First, the hours. .. I never know when this place is going to be open. They have listed mon-thurs they close at midnight, but it’s rare that they are open past 10pm. And if they are, they are already putting chairs up on the table and have the attitude that they want you to leave. Friday/Sat is the same story, open till 1am, but some days they close at 11pm or earlier. Second, the service is hit an miss. For a place that has dozens of people working, service can be very slow or just bad....quantity doesn’t equal quality. But the cocktails, wine and bourbon are fantastic. And if you go during non-busy hours on Monday or Friday, try a smoked cocktail. But again the these smoked cocktails only get served when it’s slow (no consistency). All in all, it’s a great bar, but the lack of having their owner/manger Jason away from the business, has taken a toll. I have have brought friends here for their first time recently and most said they wouldn’t return. For me, it’s in my local stomping grounds, and I will continue to go, but I always have a back up plan because I know it’s probably closed or closing hours early. More...

I've said it before and I'll say it again: hands down the best fried pickles you will ever have. Don't worry about fried pickle chips from Glory Days, or fried spears. ..Parallel will blow every other fried pickle experience you've had out of the water. And, it's a part of their happy hour menu offerings-you're welcome!Make no mistake, they're fine wine and exemplary whiskey selection don't put them above a nice burger and good beer dinner.
