Laryssa’s Pizza Fries... She said they were amazing... The Salad bar is the best... The veggies are super fresh and they have tons of choices for toppings. ... and the macaroni Salad was delish... it was just like home... no weird taste like the already made kind... Combo pizza was good, didn’t care for the sauce... a little to garlicky for me... but I’m not a huge fan of garlic... the breadsticks just like the ones I ate yrs ago and loved so much... dipped in their ranch which taste just like the ranch my grandma used to make... The only thing I’m mad about, is that I waited so long to go... I will surly be back soon... We absolutely love having Papa's Pizzaria back ! So cool that I can take my kids to the original place I once hung out at as a kid. Great pizza, salad bar, & beer big arcade room for the kids and hosts many events. Tucked away in a little hideaway, you must get out & try this place out. Had my daughters 8th birthday party @ Papas today. Everything was delicious, staff was friendly and so helpful, and for $100 it took all the stress out of our usual birthday party arrangements and saved us quite a bit of money! I feel like I'm back in elementary school. I grew up in Antelope but my friends and I went to all the camps and sleepovers they had at the Rio Linda community center and one of the things they used to order was Papa's Pizza. My Grandma also used to work at the Department of Human Assistance when it was in the Mar-Val parking lot the same time the original Papa's was there before they moved to Elkhorn. She used to bring home the breadsticks with ranch all the time before the DHA moved to Watt Ave/North Highlands. I had no idea Papa's Pizzaria reopened and was literally just talking about missing the breadsticks not even a week ago. I work in Rio Linda now but usually turn off of Elkhorn before I make it to the High School until this Monday when I decided to go to the Rio Linda KFC instead of the Antelope one. When I was driving past the school, I barely noticed a Papa's Pizzaria sign on the bleachers and I'm thinking there's no way that's been up there all these years after they've been closed so I googled it and lo and behold, yall are back. I was instantly happy and went today and it tasted just like old times. The breadsticks smell and taste just how I remember and I believe the pizza even comes in the exact style pizza boxes used at Mar-Val era Papa's. When I was a kid I never actually went to Papa's myself, I just know it was in the same parking lot so the only thing I'm curious about is if this is the original location Papa's was at or if it was in one of the other buildings. This new papas is amazing i love its family owned by some amazing ppl and think its funny ppl talk about the price i use to work at mountain mikes and papas pizza is very reasonable and less that we charged the salad is a little pricey but for all the sides and stuff you can put on it honestly $10 for a meal thats a steal id spend more at McDonald's i went with 6 kids 4 adults and spend $40 and we all ate and were super happy

Great food and great environment! Brings back old memories! I however was frustrated last night I called in to place an order, the phone rang and rang and when someone picked finally picked up the phone I was hung up on. Instead I went with Papa Murphys instead Real bummer because I was looking forward to having Papas Pizza. Went In For the second time since they opened.. first time I wasn’t impressed it wasn’t bad just not what I was expecting and it gave me a stomach ache! this time oh my goodness yummm I don’t know what changed but yum yum yummm!! The pizza was amazing!!! The breadsticks were flakey and soo good!! French fries as well were so good! the left overs the next day were just as good!! No soggy crust no dry pizza it was still so good! My only recommendation is more pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza. Can’t wait to go back! And eventually try other menu items More...
