Stopped in this morning for breakfast as we have read good things about this place. The breakfast options were pretty traditional. We enjoyed well prepared egg and meat combos with a side of fruit. Another had the meat omelet. The fourth in our party had a stuffed potato dish which is their take on a scramble - a bed of crispy hashbrowns with cheese, vegetables and scrambled eggs. For an additional cost, you can add meat of your choice. The service was quick and the coffee was HOT! I like when restaurants leave a carafe of coffee on the table, so you're not always having to ask for refills. Overall, no complaints. Will come back to try some of their traditional dishes for dinner sometime soon. More...

Stopped by with my family today to celebrate my birthday and the service was amazing. The people are super kind and attentive. Definitely made my special day so much better. I am Puerto Rican and live in Gb and to have tropical food close by and not have to travel all the way to Milwaukee is a plus. The mangu is amazing and the meat was tender and deliciously seasoned. I love coming here with the family, is the best thing in the area for Caribbean cuisine. The mofongo with shrimp is awesome, the mangu is great and the cubano sandwich is delicious also don't forget the fried plantains which are one of my family favorites. Overall a great place to enjoy great Caribbean food don't come here to get pasta or burgers come here and try the Caribbean food and you won't be disappointed. More...

My daughter has a dairy allergy and I let the waitress know. She was very understanding and said not to worry about it. Came here around 3pm on a Sunday and the place was almost completely empty, but their food is certainly not why, and neither is the service! Our waitress was very personable and even joked around with us a little bit. We each ordered something different from the menu and all left satisfied. I ordered their shrimp Alfredo and I managed to eat almost the whole portion (which never happens with pasta) because it was so good! The sauce was creamy and the grated cheese on top really added a nice taste. The shrimp was amazing too, really fresh and flavorful. Had a wonderful breakfast this morning! First we were thrilled they were open for breakfast on the holiday. We were greeted by the friendly smiling faces of the staff. Eating gluten free is a requirement for us and we were astounded by the numerous gluten free options on the menu - almost everything on menu is naturally gluten free or can be modified to be gluten free and the owner is aware of and takes measures to prevent cross contamination . Our breakfast was perfect (and bacon was cooked just the way I love it: crispy!). We cannot wait to come back again. First timers today, but will be regulars! More...

What a delicious find! The "Award Winning Grilled Cheese" and "AABLT" sandwiches were amazingly fresh and tasty. The basalmic mayo glaze on the AABLT took what could be a *plain* sandwich into a gobble down every bite sandwich. Plus tasty shrimp bisque and clam chowder and we will definitely return. I enjoyed the food. It is a diner with Puerto Rican/Caribbean fare available. I had a corned beef wrap and tostones (fried green plantains). Our son got their grilled cheese but it was a bit too adult for him. My wife had the ABBLT (avocado, bacon, basil, lettuce and tomato); it also had a balsamic drizzle on it.Service was good, the preparation a bit longer than expected but the food came out piping hot and fresh. Went in there this afternoon for the Cuban Sandwich . . . . being from Wisconsin that is a cuisine I've seldom experienced . . . . perhaps similar to expecting a good brat with cheese curds in Cuba . . . . That said the sandwich was wonderful . . . spicing and herbs I'm unused to, but they were excellent, as was the type of roll used. Also of note was a treatment of Potato Salad unlike I've had before, again the spices and it was excellent. More...
