absolute trash, AND THEY ARE SHORT STAFFED FOR A REASON. They can't keep people for a reason!!. Also, their bread is always hard, like STALE hard. not the employees fault, they constantly have that manager lady breathing down their neck asking them to do 5 things at once then get berated even more when they humanly can't.. They paid me 27 dollars for two days of work when I left for a better opportunity, never corrected it either. even after I was going through some real personal stuff. in fact, the lady manager during the weekdays talks down to the employees then wonders why nobody wants to come in to work. people want to work! they just don't want to work for YOU.. in summary, go to the Peoria location. 😬😬 More...

screwed up my husband's and my order 3 times. the last 3 times we have ordered it. refuse to answer their phone if they even have a phone. we have to drive all the way back to tell them of the mess up. we understand the short staff. that is literally everywhere nowadays. and everyone is overworked. no excuses for messed up orders when there is down times. wait times are too long on down times. using the baseball terms 3 strike your out. The vegetable soup is not a classic vegetable soup. Unknown to me it has hot spicy peppers in it... I could not eat it. They forgot to include spoons with the order so it wasn't until I got home that I tried the first bite and immediately had it spit it out! Prices and serving sizes are disproportional. Dissatisfied and will not return. More...

As a bakery they should and do excel with quality bread and pastry products. The employees are always courteous, The coffee isn't top tier coffee, but the coffee offerings are good, usually pretty fresh, and a nice variety of light roast, dark roast, decaf, hazelnut, etc. My criticism is on little things like on orders sent in by the Panera app I specifically ask for eating utensils and none are included when I pick up the order - even though someone checked off on the receipt showing they put the requested utensils in the bag. They are incredibly chintzy on providing napkins with orders...usually there are no napkins included. There are no napkin dispensers in the store, because I guess 'rona. Overall Panera is a great place to eat, my wife and I stop in frequently for little dates between our respective work schedules. The little issues I do see are just that little things that should be easy to fux. More...

The worst thing ever would be you taking the hazelnut spread off the menu. If I was concerned about eating clean I probably wouldn’t be ordering a bagel in the first place. Please bring it back!!

I love panera salads but every time we order carry out lately they don’t even fill the container half full. I’m so disappointed that I might stop going. I’m paying $9 for what is easily a $4 salad. More...

I ate there with a group of people on Monday and I was eating it like it was fine. However, all of today I’ve been in and out of the bathroom because of digestional discomfort. I think I got food poisoning from this location. More...

I have never had an issue until tonight. I love panera and go there frequently, however tonight was different. I went there to get soup because I am sick, so I was really looking forward to it. From the first steps in the door, employees were giving us a negative stare. We got there 45 min before they closed and decided to do carryout to be nice. The cashier, Jessie didn't acknowledge us and wouldn't make eye contact, just stared at her screen with no manners. She did this to the other customers as well... while we're waiting for our food, one of the other employees burned her arm on the grille. A nice size burn! We felt bad for her as we saw the burn... also waiting, we watched an employee on his phone, while another threw hard bread across the lobby trying to hit another employee... our name popped up on the screen that our order and another ladies was ready. We both walked up, not knowing which bag was ours.. we waited for the 2 girls to let us know which was ours but instead they were talking and had to be told to give the customers their bags... so the girl with the burn on her arm reached in my bag with no gloves or anything and her skin hanging off her arm into my bag... the other girl had gloves on.. yes my food is protected in boxes but I find it very disturbing that she put her burnt skin that was hanging off into my bag... to top it off, they didn't get my order right but the receipt was correct. I guess the Peoria location will be worth the drive next time. More...

Panera has delicious food. That's pretty much guaranteed. (I mean, it's not exactly gourmet or even the best in any given city. .. but I digress.) However, what is always up in the air – at least in my experience at this here East Peoria location – is exactly *what* food you'll be given in your carryout order. Sometimes you'll get most of what you paid for; other times, it'll be a wildly different arrangement of entrees, sides, addons, bakery items, and drinks. In fact I have never received a 100% accurate "rapid pickup" order. Not even once. I've been unable to pin down why this happens. Are they constantly slammed to the max? Not really. Am I making my orders overly complicated? Hardly. Are multiple clones of mine placing online orders at the exact same nanosecond as I am? Uhhh... or can I just chalk it up to general incompetence and carelessness? I don't want to sound too harsh, because the employees are often nice and apologetic and try to help as best as they can – though once or twice people have been dismissive/defensive. And yeah, I do my best to double-check my order before I leave. But still... c'mon, y'all. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me for the dozenth time when my carryout order is super crazy incorrect.. yeah, that's still on you. Especially when I go out of my way to give this location my business. Like I said the food is almost always yummy, i.e. any of their sandwiches or bagels. But also, the dining area is messy (which is understandable knowing how this place, like most other Panera locations, can get fairly busy during peak hours). But also, on like two separate occasions, one of their managers made up for botched orders with free bakery items. But also I'm consistently out sums of cash when I get the wrong food. I'm conflicted. So... two stars? I think that's fair, right? And I think I've gone on long enough, right? More...

Sandwich very good. One guy could if been little nicer, but maybe he was just having a bad day. I think 10.00 for 1/2 Sandwich is getting a little high.

Well, I was given the wrong bagel 1st of all! I ordered a scone and the girl says that I have a free pastry. I said ok, I'll have the cherry one and the scone. We got home and no pastry!

I ordered for rapid pickup. It took 15 minutes to be asked may I help you. They mixed my large smoothie in a small cup and when I brought it to their attention with my receipt the team member didn't remix it he just poured it in a large cup and filled it with whipped cream. I won't be back and that is sad because I enjoy the food. More...
