The management in Muskogee OK could have been better, we ran out of most popular items regularly. Our manger did a poor job leading by example. I worked typically 10:30 till 5 PM Monday thru Friday and loved my hours. I gained relationships regular customers and was complimented regularly on my customer service and compassion when a guest was less than satisfied. Always willing to accommodate the guests and their needs and finding ways to satisfy them before a refund was given. I worked front of house meaning we made guests plates for them to their specifications in house and in the drive thru. Rang up orders and handled payment. I loved working there until we got a new manager, then a new assistant manager, then people started to quit. I used to enjoy going to work and serving customers. I would find ways to push myself to better the work environment and the store itself. My manager was supportive and enthusiastic towards all of the employees. He cared about each of us on a more personal friendly level. It made work fun being around a group of people I considered my friends. Then the new manager showed up and kicked him out. The new manager talked about changing things and re teaching everyone how to do their job correctly, but showed no action. We all knew how to preform our jobs correctly, yet she insisted on her ways being superior, but still never enlightened us on her ways. She showed obvious favoritism and treated certain employees as children, giving out punishments for silly things. She was not encouraging and she automatically brought a negative depressing environment to the store. She was not willing to train me for my promotion even when her higher boss told me I needed to train and get the promotion. I ended up training myself in the aspects I needed from other employees and my old manager. Panda is one of those love hate relationship. I love what I do as a manager however sometimes the people who work under you aren't the best, making this job entirely stressful trying to hold standard or comply to policies. Panda has an organized structure compare to most food restaurants. They try to be organized in developing people. Upper management (can be biased) are very involved in day to day operations and will only choose those who fit the culture to grow within the company. (BTW, get use to it, this company does a lot of gossiping. Good gossip I call it. Gossip about who's good, who's not , blah blah) This company is a fit for people who loves to work hard and loves being reward with money. We do not want lazy, unproductive people.
