I planned my besties surprise 50th birthday and Bridal Shower here 4/26/19 & it was soooooo much fun. You get tired of the same ole nightclub or restaurant vibe and wanted something different. We brought in food, ALCOHOL/mimosa bar/dessert bar/games to play. We had an awesome instructor, I’m so ashamed I forgot his name ... he was so patient and such an awesome instructor. We had a group of 10 (seemed like we had 20 ). BTW they check ID’s & wristband everyone to make sure you’re 21 yrs & over if you bring alcohol. I secured it with a deposit and Megan, the owner was so quick responding. Megan the owner was who I communicated with the whole time and was such an ease to coordinate. Only problem I had was choosing the “TYPE of painting” we were gonna do. You have 6000 plus prints to choose from . I chose “QUEEN BEE” it was beautiful to see everyone’s different interpretation of the same painting. It truly does show everyone’s different personality. They set everything up for you (tables)/chairs. You just show up with your guest and all your food and decorations and they even do the clean up. You just have fun. I actually paid for 2 extra hours so we had time before the painting began to eat and mingle little bit and so the girls could decorate and wait for the the guest of honor. So if you want to party longer... just ask MEGAN and she’ll let you know. Thank you Megan for naming things so easy for us. I noticed on the final receipt there was room/line for a “TIP”- I considered it odd cause it’s not a “service” kind of establishment, but because they do the set up and clean up of everything -even taking the trash... and if they were fun instructors and you feel you can give extra for “tip” then please tip them if you can. It doesn’t hurt to acknowledge them . Oh- the plus is you go home with a beautiful painting you painted all by yourself. I can honestly say “I’m hooked”. I already went back 2 weeks ago with some friends from Church and it was a blast cause we did our paintings on “Shiplap Boards” so pretty. I LOVE PAINTING WITH A TWIST❤️. More...

What a great service! We went with a private party and it was so much fun! From start to finish, the staff was super supportive and helpful. All were very nice and friendly. We were able to bring in our own food and drinks and set up the area with party favors, etc. Mitch was hilarious...made the class fun and memorable. He was very patient too...lol..We asked a lot of "repeat questions". Overall, we all had a great time and were very proud of our paintings! We will be back! Mahalo! More...

I threw a Birthday party for my wife on June 11. All of her friends had a fantastic time. All of the paintings came out amazing. Who knew we had such talent.
The studio has AC and clean, has room to set up for food and drinks.
The time flew by so fast, but the paintings were done.

I was lucky enough to go to the grand opening of this location with my friend. This is the most fun thing ever. The space is really nice and staff is amazing. I am not artistically inclined and to be honest, I never really thought I'd enjoy something like this but I have to say, I'm glad I was wrong. I went with a group of friends and we had a blast! You can bring your food and beverages (alcohol is allowed) which is always a plus. Go with one person or a bunch of friends, I think you'll enjoy it either way.

Allie led our group step by step and the pace was perfect; I never felt rushed or bored. Her directions were easy to follow but I didn't feel like I was being talked down to, which, as someone who trains others, is very important to me. Despite my distinct lack of talent, I think my painting came out fairly well (much to my surprise.)

If you're looking for something a little different to do with your significant other, a large group, perhaps a company activity, give Painting with a Twist a try. You might just learn to release your inner artist that's been waiting to come out! More...

I was totally clueless in how to paint anything but with this step by step, I actually enjoyed it. I liked it so much I booked a class the next day, then I booked another one for my birthday at Pinot’s Palette in Puyallup, WA.

This was my second time. The first was at Kakaako on Ward. We did Monet Liles with Kileigh. It was a great class and a lot if fun for everyone. Pretty much the same format and there was a private paint party going on in the other classroom. Aiea has more convenient parking and nearby shops to get your choice of beverage. They do have bottle openers and cups for groups who bring their own wine. Check their website for dates and painting topics. Reserve your seat ahead if time. More...
