I've been here twice and I just found it to be ok. The good: I love how pretty and clean the dining room is. Terrific ambiance. I ordered a carmel latte both times I went - I thought it was great each time. Each time I found the servers attentive and kind. The ehhh: On the first visit, I had a chicken biscuit sandwich - wherein the biscuit promptly crumbled on the first bite - I mean, ok, I can eat with a fork, I was just hoping it would stand up as a sandwich. I ordered a side of pimento cheese, which didn't seem to have much in the way of any particularly distinct flavor.  Second visit, We tried the hushpuppies to start. It said something on the menu about pickled peppers in them. Holy Lord. As someone who enjoys spice, my mouth was on fire, and I got through one and a half of them before I gave up. I can't imagine what would happen if someone didn't like spice. I ordered the catfish sandwich - which had a very small peice of catfish on it. And again, the same difficulty with a crumbly biscuit. I also had a side of greens that didn't have any real smoky or distinct flavor. My husband ordered a standard breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuit, side of gravy). My husband could not eat the gravy because he said it tasted like paste, and the rest was just a standard breakfast. I ended up taking my biscuit remnants (because the biscuit crumbled and there wasn't much catfish, there was plenty of remnants) and putting my husband's blackberry jelly on them - which was really good. When the check came, I had to cover the bill with my hand to hide from my husband the fact that we just paid $50 for a meal that could best be described as mediocre. Perhaps I'll give it a shot again if a friend wants to go. Like I said, the atmosphere is really pretty - I just think the food could definately use some tweaking. More...

This restaurant was certainly new and fresh. The food was just OK. I had the chicken sandwich and it was good but not great. The french fries are nothing to write home about they are really potato wedges of some type. I would try it again with a focus on the biscuits and see if that was better. More...

Great esthetics, great music playing, spacious patio, fully stocked bar, & all around great vibes! Our service was exceptional, laid back and friendly, but on top of things. Happily and accurately split our checks among several people. We had a big group and tried a variety of coffees, breakfast cocktails and brunch foods, and all were great! The waffles are an absolute home run! Biscuits were buttery and flaky. The market scramble was a bit smaller than we anticipated, but still very tasty. Can't wait to come back next time we're in Columbia. More...

I'd heard so many great things about OMB and wasn't disappointed! I came here with a friend and the ambience is everything you could want in a chic biscuit spot. It's also got quite the bar selection, so you could stop by in the evening for drinks too!I got the COMO hot chicken biscuit and it was pretty tasty! Nothing over the moon, but I'd like to come by for breakfast sometime!Sadly the service was pretty slow and forgetful at times. Wasn't super busy, so didn't feel like this was justified :/ More...

Loved going to their truck on Saturday's, but won't be back to either location after the experience I had. The staff at the door was pretty unwelcoming And uninterested in us being there. Coffee was terrible and overpriced. We were given to-go bags at our table and asked to leave because "they didn't know we wanted to dine in" (even though we said that upon arrival.) We were literally asked to get up from the table and just leave cause no one was told they'd have to clean it. My husbands food was over fried to the point where he couldn't eat parts of it. He mentioned it to the owner who seemed like he had excuses for inedible food. The more me thought about the experience after we left, the more upsetting it all was. We won't be back, and we are done recommending it to people. Go to first watch. We haven't had any issues there. More...

This place is all the hype in the como so i had to try it when they opened up the restaurant. Least to say it was disappointing. The prices are quite high for the amount of food you get and it's not anything mindblowing. We started with appetizers and never went forward to order entrees since it was just not great. The baked brie was okay and the Jettie's biscuit was not my thing. The biscuits were stale and dry. This is a Biscuit & Bar at least have the biscuits down. I'm sure their foodtruck might've been better. Dont think this type of food is sitdown, restaurant type of food. More...

Today, I enjoyed a new item called the Classic Chicken and it’s probably my new favorite! The chicken was super tender, lightly breaded and very tasty. I had mine on brioche but you will have about three options here. A side of fries and a mimosa set it off! Scrumptious food and a friendly staff makes OMB a winner!!! More...

Come early on the weekends for brunch, as it gets packed and the wait can be long. You can't go wrong with anything that has a biscuit. We've also tried the waffle, which was also really great. Second time eating here, first time was drinks and appetizers at the bar and loved it!This time was lunch on our way through town. We got drinks and split an order of fried green tomatoes to start. Wife had the blackberry drink and liked it. I tried to order a draft beer and out server had to keep leaving to check on if they were available. Came back with an opened can for me instead of the draft and was thrown off when I  asked about it. Had a lady come by later and ask how everything was, explained what happened and was told that the server was new and they had new beers that weren't on the menu. While I was talking to her, the same server did the same thing to a different table.Menus are online, and accessed by scanning a QR code. So this could have been easily avoided. Might need to make it a regular task to update. We both got the big chicken dinner plates. Chicken was hot and crispy! I wasn't blown away by the portion size for the cost. Getting a sandwich and a couple of sides looks to be much more cost effective.Biscuits weren't hot and came without butter/jam/anything, which seems odd to me, as they should be the stars!Had someone (a manager?) come by and say hello and let us know that he had heard about the beer situation and that they were going to train with her. Glad to hear that they are investing in their team.I was kind of expecting the beer to not be on the bulk when it came, or a "hey sorry about the mix up, desserts on us" but that didn't happen.A fun place to come and eat, I hope that they continue to grow! I wish the biscuit were hotter when I got it, but all my food was good and there was a lot of it! The gravy on the chicken fried steak was soooo good. Disappointed to say the least. I've been a returning customer of the trucks since 2 years ago and I was excited to try their restaurant before I moved away. I frankly wish I hadn't, and I'm only giving 2 stars for the good service.I got the shrimp on the big plates menu as I'd wanted to try something new. It costed 17$ and with that I got 4 slices of bread and 7 head on shrimp. I have no problem with pealing them myself, but I do have a problem when I leave still feeling hungry after spending 22$ on that and orange juice without adding the tip in. The shrimp were mediocre and not 17$ worth for 7. I'm writing this right after getting home and I am frankly disappointed. I'll recommend the food truck any day, as they are still the best one in Columbia, but I highly encourage avoiding the restaurant if you want to leave feeling full and satisfied for the money you spend. We were super excited about this place because they have a strong biscuit game with their food truck. We will come back and revise our review accordingly in hopes that they are just working on the kinks and the food will be better next time. There's a nice bar in the back and the wait wasn't long. 1. Jetties biscuit - this was a nice start. Would be great if they split the biscuit and then apply the maple syrup bc you only get the maple syrup on top and the rest of the biscuit ends up being plain 2. Mac and cheese - good Mac to cheese ratio. It needed a little something extra like bits of bacon to bring it all together. Also the corn bread topping wasn't crispy but just kind of stale. If they want to use it as a bread topping it needs a better execution. Maybe over roast it w some butter to give it a better crisp. 3. Egg, bacon and cheese biscuit - this was the big fail. First the biscuit that was used for this sandwich was very different than the one that was used for the appetizer. It was way more stale, super dry and hard to swallow. I did not even eat half this sandwich. I took three bits and stopped because it wasn't worth the effort to try to force it down. The egg did not help add and moisture because it was cooked hard over so it was dry too. Maybe they use a different biscuit for the sandwich bc it holds together better but it did not work. I would also recommend cooking the egg over easy or doing a fluffy soft scramble. 4. Biscuits and gravy - because the biscuits are covered in gravy as you can see from the photos it was hard to determine if the quality of the biscuit was the same as the sandwich. The gravy was nice and not over salted which we appreciated. More...

Had the pleasure of dining at the new Ozark Mountain Biscuit & Bar today for a late lunch. We were seated immediately and brought water by our server within a minute of sitting down. QR codes were on the table to view both the drink and food menus. I opted for the Vodka & Fresh Grapefruit Sparkler and my partner went for a Logboat Shiphead. The drinks were brought out promptly! The Sparkler was strong and not too sweet. The Shiphead came from a can and was poured into a glass by the server at our table. It took our server about 15 minutes to return to our table to take our food order. Not a big deal, but noticeable. Brunch is served until 4 here, which is much appreciated! I ordered the Farmer's Market Scramble with pimento cheese and home fries (pictured). The food came out quickly and- Wow! It was delicious. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the home fries were just the right level of crispiness. My meal also came with a biscuit (which we already know is incredible). I'm excited to return to this spot soon and explore other options on their menu! I have no doubt this place will succeed in Columbia. More...
