Unfortunately our experience with Marlene and Oviedo Florist went from good to horrible. We went to them for flowers for my daughter's wedding. At first all was going well and my daughter, my partner and Marlene were working together to provide what my daughter wanted. We provided photos of what we would like and Marlene sent us photos of mock ups that worked with only a few changes needed. Then things went sideways. Less than two weeks before the wedding we got texts that they did not know what we wanted, did not have a deposit and that our items were going to cost more. Immediately tried to resolve, spoke to Marlene directly and tried to set up a call with the bride. When it was time for the call, Marlene did not pickup nor return our voicemail or text message. We went to the store to get some items we gave them to use for their estimate. We were verbally harassed, called liars and kicked out of the store for asking for our property back. November 17th 2021 wedding - Thank you so much Marlene !!!! Omg my flowers were so beautiful everything was so beautiful I just couldn’t believe how amazing everything looked . When my wedding coordinator Monica brought the flowers up to the room where I was getting ready they took my breath away!!! I am beyond pleased with my experience my wedding coordinator referred this florist to me after one that I picked didn’t work out and I was freaking out as usual lol . All it took was a phone call a few emails or texts to send pictures of the bouquet that I wanted and the type of centerpieces that I wanted and she went to work . The day of I just couldn’t believe how spot on she was from just photos from a grainy google message . I mean unbelievable sweet and kind and just wow I mean please hire her you will feel like I don’t even know it’s as easy as breathing all my worries melted away after one phone call . I cannot say enough nice things about Oviedo Florist! I had the pleasure of ordering a very special arrangement for a dear friend this last week. I placed the order online on a Friday evening. Due to the holiday on Monday I received a call on Tuesday morning verifying delivery details, contact information and flower selections. I had a wonderful conversation with Savannah regarding the arrangement and she assured me that she would do her very best to accommodate the request for a specific flower. She also verified delivery time window so that my friend received the arrangement before she headed into work for the day. Upon receiving the arrangement today my friend sent me pictures and I am completely blown away! These flowers are GORGEOUS!! They might be the prettiest arrangement I have seen in awhile. Working with Oviedo Florists was an absolute delight! They helped us narrow down the vision for our wedding and enabled us to have the perfect floral arrangements for our ceremony and reception!
We had an outdoor spring wedding so having fresh, beautiful, spring flowers was very important to us and Marlene and her team delivered just that! Marlene was incredible and helped set everything up the morning of the wedding so that it was all ready for the event! She was able to perfectly accommodate our budget, requests, and even provide personalization to our arrangements all while making everything look absolutely stunning. Our guests would not stop talking about how beautiful the centerpieces were or my wife's bouquet. It really meant a lot to my wife that Marlene was able to incorporate her mother's gardenias (freshly picked from her garden) and a calla lily to pay homage to her grandmother who sadly passed away last year. The moment her family saw the bouquet, everyone was in tears for how beautiful those arrangements looked with everything else and how truly personalized it was. Marlene and the rest of the Oviedo Florist team will not disappoint, they should be your first and only pick!! Plus, you’d be supporting an AMAZING local business!
