What a great experience for our two mini dachshunds! With one puppy and one adult, we got to send them together to learn, simultaneous commands and go through the process together. We received regular updates, and YouTube videos of their progress. Our trainer, Meagan was very patient, compassionate, and extremely talented at training these notoriously stubborn dogs. Our boy George, was trained by Amanda. From beginning to end she was amazing. He warned right up to her at the consult and remembered her and her chicken when she picked him up. We contacted k9 over watch to help with basic obedience and leash walking. He was un-walkable on a leash. He’s always been a sweet dog and never aggressive just not always a listener. While he was away we received multiple videos of George with Amanda so we could see his progress. Amanda was also amazing about communication. Every text or call was returned same day no matter what time. We love Amanda.

We worked with Natalie at OverWatch K9 to train our 6mo golden retriever puppy, Honey, and she did such a great job!!! We started out with the puppy lessons right when we brought Honey home for basic puppy training. We then sent Honey to train with Natalie at 6 months, and we are so grateful for the experience!! She did such a great job equipping Honey with the tools to be a well behaved and socialized dog. I purposefully waited a bit after my Goldendoodle Goose was returned from her two week board and train to write this review because I was waiting to see if the new Goose, the incredibly calm and obedient Goose was only in a honeymoon phase…and that after a few days the old-Goose would possibly return…but my fears were put to rest. The transformation was more than I could have dreamed of! I’ve been in awe repeatedly throughout the days since her return home because the difference is truly phenomenal.
You need to understand where we started…and it wasn’t a good place.
You see I live with my elderly parents…I’m their sole caregiver and having an almost sixty pound hyper, non-listening and into everything dog was more than I could bare and became more that I could risk. As much as I love and adore my Goose girl, Overwatch K9…specifically Meghan was my last hope. The physical health of my parents had to come first and the constant risk/fear of them being knocked down by Goose’s rambunctiousness became more real every day. Again, Meghan WAS my last hope before having to make a decision that would have clearly broken my heart.
I’ve always trained my big dogs throughout my sixty plus years and they have always, always nailed their commands, including off-leash…that is until Goose. I not only felt like a failure in my training with her, I worried that possibly Goose was missing certain components to learn/retain much needed commands.
I am so incredibly grateful that I was wrong. And I am also incredibly grateful for the team at Overwatch K9…especially Meghan!
From day one Meghan calmly instilled faith in me that she could, that she “would” be able to make a difference in Gooses life which in return would help our lives.
And she came through with her promises BIGTIME!

I truly can not be more grateful to have found K9 Overwatch. From my initial contact with Paige to our trainer Natalie I couldn’t be happier. Paige was very transparent about the issues we were having with Bear & offered amazing suggestions to try before we even considered signing him up to manage our expectations about training & that was greatly appreciated. Her suggestions worked & 2 weeks later Bear was a candidate for training & off to their trainer Natalie. The communication was amazing as well as the the videos along the way of Bear’s training. Natalie has such a heart for animals & is so intuitive about their behaviors I was beyond impressed. We are truly amazed at all she accomplished with Bear in just 2 weeks! Overwatch k9 Academy is a fantastic choice for training your pup! It’s very clear this team loves dogs and has incredible knowledge/experience. We went with the Advanced 2 week boarding program for our 6 month, GSD Boxer mix and it was an amazing experience. We are very happy and impressed with how much our dog has learned and how much more confident she is. Our dog did not have a lot of negative behaviors but she did lack discipline with listening to commands, recall and focusing. Amanda was our trainer and was extremely helpful and informative with our concerns and questions; she even helped change our pups diet to better her health! She was also very flexible with the meet & greet, pick-up/drop-off times which was a good stress reliever for our busy retail management work schedules. Amanda also made it very clear that she will always be available and open for any questions/problems that may arise in the future no matter how far out-WOW! We got daily videos and pictures of our girl while she was away and watched along with all her progress the whole time. She took great care of her and took our concerns seriously. More over, she coached us on how to handle her behaviors and what they mean and what our actions mean to her which boost our communication with her. Overall great experience, loved the program, totally recommend for any dog owner!! Definitely worth the money. We sent our 8-month-old Chocolate Lab off to stay with Amanda for what we call “puppy camp.” Every day, Amanda kept in amazing contact with us and sent videos and pictures of Mag's progress throughout her training. Each day it was like I was watching a new dog because of how great her progress was. Our dog loved her and we loved her. Sometimes it’s hard to send off a piece of your family for two weeks but I promise you won’t regret it! More...

Our Coco just completed her two week training course with Overwatch k9 Academy! I just want to start by saying I was very nervous about being away from our little one for two full weeks but after the first conversation with the owners and our trainer I knew that she was going to be in great hands. They were very comforting and understanding with any concerns or requests we had . They talked through everything with me and answered any questions I had . We had a meet and greet with our trainer Natalie and I immediately felt comfortable with her and so did Coco. She was such a joy to talk with and be around . I felt like she got us right of the bat . She's was so down to earth and understanding. SO KIND! As soon as Coco left for her training I got updates , pictures and videos almost immediately. She stayed in constant contact with us and made me feel so comfortable with all the training. When Coco came back home we immediately noticed a huge difference in Cocos behavior in the best way possible. She was so attentive but was still her loving happy self ! Her obedience was like night and day . She followed all commands so wonderfully and Natalie spent almost two full hours with us at drop off going through everything that the trained on and walked me and my husband through all the steps to maintain the great training here at home.

Overwatch will forever be on our highest recommendation list!! You can tell they are so passionate about what they do and treat your dog like their own , which is all I could of wished for.

I recently used K9 overwatch for my 8 month old Bernese Mountain Dog, Bridget, and we signed up for the 2 week advanced obedience training that included boarding.

I had called a few other places beforehand and was doing my homework on all our options. Bridget was doing well at a lot of training items, but definitely needed that professional trainer push that I wasn’t able to provide.

After speaking with Joey and Paige I knew they were the team we wanted to move forward with. You can tell over the phone who cares and who’s going through the motions. They really cared.

We were paired with Natalie and she was amazing! Can’t say enough good things about her and how much better Bridget is once we got her back. We actually went on a trip that involved some hiking in the Appalachian Trails of WV 2 days after she returned from training and had Natalie not worked her magic, the trip wouldn’t have been as much of a success.
She kept us updated throughout the process, which we really enjoyed. Constant videos and positive feedback made the time fly by.

I would highly recommend K9 Overwatch and even more so Natalie! The best part of investing in the 2 week boarding is the lifetime membership and we are happy to continue working with everyone involved! More...

Veronica was amazing with our one year old lab mix! Before the training, she was allowed on all of our furniture and would jump on people when they came into the house. We recently had a newborn and our dog would bark and growl when the baby cried. After training with Veronica, our dog is so calm and doesn’t even seem to notice when the baby cries. She is so gentle with the baby and her house manners have improved SO much. She is calm and keeps all four paws on the ground when we (or our guests) enter the house. She also now knows where she can and cannot sit. She no longer gets on our furniture. We had a wonderful experience with Veronica! Words cannot describe! Maegan has changed our lives!!! Our Bentley is almost five years old, and though soooo loved, this year we were cursing him more than loving him.

For months, he had been barking both inside and outside, not coming when called, jumping on my old parents, begging and whining, no amount of love was ever enough, pulling on the leash, kicking up bark all over our yard, and even jumping on our TABLE to help himself to our toddler’s dinner!

Not anymore! Maegan transformed him in less than three weeks. We went on vacation and came home to obedient, loving, dog. I'm still in awe.

Maegan granted all our wishes! No more jumping, no barking, table manners, heeling when walking on leash, she even took him hiking and trained him to be off leash in the woods and took him to her family’s farm to acclimate him to farm animals (my father-in law has a few horses and before Bentley kept barking at them and almost got stomped!). Our neighbor’s dog has been a constant irritation to Bentley. Bentley would go ballistic, barking and tearing up the yard by the fence. But now, when Bo comes out barking, I just say, “Leave It” and Bentley turns and walks away. Unbelievable.

I cannot express how impressed I am with this company! The videos I got from Meagan of his training and progress were so professional. She checked in all the time, so I never had to worry about our baby. She took so much time with us to learn about our home life and train us when she returned Bentley back to us. The fact that the training is guaranteed for the life of the dog is AMAZING! I've already texted her with a question and she immediately responded.

Seriously, she has changed our life. The house is so much quieter and calmer and with five kids, we need all the peace we can get!

Amanda did a phenomenal job !! My dog went from lunging and barking at every stranger to actually listening to me to not bark! It’s definitely a day and night change with my pup! Working with Amanda from Overwatch K9 has been amazing!

My 2 year old goldendoodle has always struggled with pulling, but recently started acting aggressive when he would see other dogs or certain people.

After 3 weeks of the advanced obedience training with Amanda, I am blown away! She worked with him on his heel, doorbell manners, socialization, and extended stay, amongst other things. They even went on multiple field trips.

She provided me with updates and videos throughout his stay, and talked through all of my questions during the process.

It was an incredible experience from the start! No worry from the beginning, Jessica picked or dog up. Understand my dog caused over 10k dollars in damage to the house and furniture before training. After training.....OMG! No more pulling things off the counter to chew, no more aggressive jumping, WE ACTUALLY HAVE LOOSE LEASH WALKING!!!. We have had a great experience with Overwatch K9 Academy. Our 5 month old GSP is full of energy and we knew boundaries and rules were going to be important from a young age. We were so happy to be paired with our trainer Natalie- she is so knowledgeable and has been a pleasure to work with. Before our board and train she came for a meet and greet and helped us with some puppy training tips. We just got our pup back from board and train and she has learned so much. Recall, sit, stay, down, place, etc and her door manners, countersurfing and chewing have all improves tremendously. Of course she still needs reminders but we have the framework now for success. Natalie spent hours with us as drop off to make sure we were comfortable and learning how to work with our pup and her new skills. Our dog LOVES Natalie too- so I know she enjoyed training and working with her too. We got frequent videos and pictures of our girl while she was away which helped us see her progress. The team at Overwatch K9 did an amazing job with my 1 year old goldendoodle. Joey did an amazing introduction and his team helped me get to the right training. Our 9month old Labrador spent 3 weeks with Maegan. He has been home a week now and we have been blown away by how well behaved he has been. He is so much more calm and confident. Our walks used to be so rough with his leash pulling and crazy behavior when we came across other people and animals. It was becoming increasingly difficult because he was getting so big and strong. Now our walks are amazing!! He is no longer distracted by other dogs or people, but is focused on us. He never pulls!

Maegan sent us so many videos throughout his stay with her. It was so cool to see his progress along the way. We were a little worried we wouldn’t be able to have the same success when he came home. Maegan spent quite a bit of time with us when she brought him home. She was great!! We really felt like we knew exactly what we were doing by the time she left, and assured us to contact her with any questions at anytime. We have had the same success as when she was here!

Our 1 year old golden-doodle was in charge at our house. He jumped on guests, shredded everything in sight, ran off every chance he got and counter surfed. Walking him was impossible as he often took off after anything that got his attention dragging us with him. He only obeyed commands when he felt like it. After contacting Overwatch K9 Academy, we decided to go with the board and training program. Our trainer, Natalie, did an initial visit to our home to meet Murphy, to hear our concerns regarding his behavior and explain her training methods. Natalie was amazing to work with. She was friendly, understanding, and reassured us that Murphy would be in the best of hands. The pickup day was arranged and went smoothly. During the two week training, Natalie kept in contact with us regarding Murphy's progress through text messages, videos and photos. When she brought Murphy home, she walked us through the commands and had us practice using them to ensure we understood how to continue the training. She then followed up with an email detailing the commands and encouraged us to text her if we had any questions. An added bonus was Murphy came home bathed and brushed! 😀 I can't say enough about Natalie and Overwatch K9 Academy. Murphy is a changed dog! Layla stayed with Meagan for two weeks while her hoomans went on vacation. LAYLA IS A 90 lb Saint Bernard x doodle and is very smart and sweet but at 2 years old she definitely needed some fine tuning on her manners including pulling on leash at the beginning of walks, leave it and recall. Layla got home last night and today I loose leash walked her out the door and around our neighborhood. She’s like a new dog. We even gave her a stinky sock from her small human and told her to leave it, and SHE DID. This is big big stuff. After a long, hard, come-to-Jesus-meeting with myself, I realized I either needed to rehome my standard size Bernedoodle puppy or get professional help. This is what began my journey with OverWatch K9 Academy, and our newest family member and forever friend, Jessica.
Hold your judgement; it took me 10 years to decide it was time to add another dog to my family. I had the most perfect Saint Bernard and was fearful I would end up with a hyper, ill-mannered barker if I took the plunge again – which is exactly what my sweet little Nola warmed up to be when I brought her home to Georgia. In an anxiety ridden panic, I Googled (instead of Xanaxed) and came across some fabulous reviews for this “Overwatch K9 Academy” from people who had issues similar to mine. I called and spoke with the owner, Joey, who asked many questions, explained to me their philosophy and program, offered much advice on techniques I could try with Nola immediately, and then encouraged me to take time to really consider if I wanted to commit to their program. Needless to say – I called back the very next day and am forever grateful that I did.
From the moment Jessica walked into my home for her initial meet and greet with my then out of control four-month-old puppy, I knew I had made one of the best decisions of my last 40 years. When I tell you that she had Nola minding her this very day, I am not exaggerating. Fast forward a few months and a two-week Advanced Obedience training and I now have a nine-month-old Bernedoodle that I can take on walks without her attempting to dislocate my shoulder. She no longer “counter surfs”, comes when I call her, sits and stays when ordered to do so and I can have her off-leash without fear of her running off and potentially getting injured. Nola still barks occasionally but is more situationally appropriate and no longer an irritant.
Jessica took her time working with me and my daughters to ensure we understood the commands, hand gestures and how to differentiate between obedience and unacceptable behavior. She taught us how to correct appropriately and truly gave me the confidence I needed to continue reinforcing Nola’s training daily. The best part – Jessica is only a phone call or text message away for Nola’s entire life.

Our son has an 11 month old Aussie puppy named Asher. He was out of control with energy, herded anyone that was not me or my wife, nibbled on hands and thought our sectional was his personal Daytona 500 track. We had to put him in his kennel whenever we had company and of course all he would do is bark. Even though he was the sweetest puppy ever something had to change. In comes Overwatch K9 Academy and specifically Meagan.

From the first time I spoke to the owner, Joey, I felt at ease with the entire process. Then came the visit at our home to meet Asher with Joey, his wife Paige and Asher’s soon to be new friend Meagan. They spent an hour or so with us talking and seeing who and what this Asher guy was all about. After that Asher was off to spend two weeks with Meagan.

Meagan sent us daily updates via group text the entire time Asher was gone. She also sent video messages of what they were working on almost daily. Looking back, the two weeks were long and we missed Asher but would NOT do it differently if making this choice over again. The day Asher came home Meagan pulled into the driveway, got out and gave us the run through briefly while Asher was in the car. What really stood out to us was she went to my 17 year old first and addressed him as the lead the entire time. She knew that this was his dog and he paid for the training and that made him feel important. After the run down Asher got out of the car and Meagan proceed to work one on one with our son and the rest of us, including our youngest son, going over commands, hand signals, walking, etc. She spent about two hours with us and then scheduled a return to check in for about a month later.

As I sit here outside, out front and drinking coffee writing this review 3 weeks since Asher has been back home, my man is off leash laying down at my feet enjoying the fresh morning air and sounds. This would not of been possible without Meagan and Overwatch. Asher still has all the energy of an 11 month old Aussie puppy but it is now harnessed into wanting to please us. He loves to play ball and go for walks still of course, but now he gets so excited because everything is off leash and he feels the freedom to be him and then please his owners. I simply would not recommend any other group to train my dog. In fact they have made me rethink getting another dog after Asher and my son fly the coup in the future.

Jessica did such an amazing job with our retriever puppy that we literally emailed the office the day he came home to arrange training for our 7-year-old Westie. Natalie was awesome! She literally brought us back a different puppy. He's calmer and listens. Natalie did all the hard work. It's obvious she was consistent and caring. What I love is our six month old Golden Doodle responds so he can get cuddles. We would have never been able to to what she did! We loved the videos she shared of her and Harley. Jessica is an amazing, loving, intuitive trainer. She listened to our challenges with our pup, assessed him and saw him for the lover he is. He came home a completely different dog in the absolute best way imaginable. She worked with his needs, kept us informed and included in his training daily. I recently had my furry best friend (a very energetic and loving Cavapoo) graduate from the Advanced Obedience Board & Training with Natalie. During the meet & greet, I could tell immediately that Natalie 1) was an expert in her craft and 2) was extremely loving. During the 3-week training period, Natalie was extremely communicative about my pups progress and always sent videos accompanying these updates. Post-training and during the hand-off period, she was very thorough in her instruction for me and patient. She also reassured that she’s a text/call away for a refresher training at any time. I can say without a doubt, this program was 1000% worth it. She instilled the basic commands to a degree that it’s almost intuitive for my pup after only 3 weeks. She also assisted with teaching door manners and leash walking. I can’t rave enough about how thankful and appreciative I am of her and can’t wait to see my pup continue to grow with this amazing foundation she’s laid. More...
