My husband and I went Saturday night, we had a 7:45 reservation and were seated promptly. Ji was our server, she was very attentive and answered all of our questions. We ordered from the Magical Dining menu and were both pleased with our selections. My husband had the mac-n-cheese planks and I had the crab and corn stuffed Portobello mushroom, both were large portion and packed with flavor. For the entree I had the Duck Breast with the fig infused Brussels sprouts, the Duck was cooked to a perfect medium rare. My husband had the veal saltimbocca with the cauliflower mash, I tried some of each and with both agree that was the most tender veal we have had in years. For dessert he had the key lime ice cream on the oatmeal graham cookie with walnut brittle, Incredible and I had the truffles with the Apple rosette, also incredible. You guys!!! This was our first time and we will definitely be back. Our server Gareth went above and beyond making us feel welcomed and took great care of us. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Food- OMG stellar!! We ordered The fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and our entrées consisted of the shrimp and grits and the braised short ribs. Flavors were on point. Had a wonderful meal at Outpost Neighborhood Kitchen in College Park - while the room was a bit warm due to some A/C problems, and some items were sold out or not available- the star of the night was the staff! From receptionist to wait staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful and even went out of the way to make sure all our needs was met- if there were any issues, they were not only quick to make it right but thoughtful enough to try to make amends or enhance our experience! Such an awesome neighborhood kitchen feel paired with absolutely delicious food and stellar service! It fits perfectly in the bungalow neighborhood of College Park.
Their menu rotates pretty regularly to offer a variety of options that make each experience a little different. It is easily one of my favorite food stops among all of the Orlando Bungalow neighborhoods.
Tonight in particular, I had the roasted chicken and dumplings with their wahoo ceviche as an appetizer. It was all part of the main street restaurant week prefix menu special. All of it was absolutely on point!!! To top it off, I had The Whoopie pie for dessert with two chocolate cookies and peanut butter cream in between. HOLY COW it was delicious! Props to Outpost and server/hostess Ji- she was absolutely amazing with her suggestions, personality, and overall warm and welcoming demeanor. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been here before sat at the bar and gentlemen bartender was alright. We gave it another chance couple weeks ago and had a female bartender on a Friday night. And let me say she was amazing. You can tell she was so busy but she kept her cool. Gave us extremely excellent service and entertained us at the same time. She even offered us to come back for brunch in a Sunday. So I did. I came earlier today and was super excited to see her. As always the food was amazing and Nicole was as amazing as always. The couple times we have been there we loved it so much because of the food but the service at the bar was always slack. Thank you Nicole for being awesome. And way to go outpost for the hire. Great food and great people that care. We have consistently had quality food and great service. Quality is not fast food. Quality is you not cooking a home cooked meal, visiting with friends or enjoying your date and ambiance while someone who cares cooks that home cooked meal for you and yours. This was a wonderful place and we had a great time. Service could have been a lot better, the patio heater ran out of propane and wasn’t refilled so it was chilly and they forgot the cornbread croutons on the salad which we were really looking forward to. We also saw others getting cornbread service but nothing was offered to our table. The server rarely came by to check on us and it took a long time to get our food during a time that didn’t look too busy. We will definitely give it another try because we want to LOVE IT!! More...

Had a great time here with friends for Sunday brunch. We got here early for endless mimosas, the atmosphere was very lively and they played great music. The service we received from Kailey was amazing. It was a party of 6 and kailey was attentive, and came back quickly with our orders. She was very professional and she attended to All of our needs. This is a fairly small restaurant with tables both indoors and outside. The staff is friendly and seem to know their product well. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and when it arrived there was enough for two meals if not three. It was very tasty and perfectly prepared. My wife had the meatloaf and also got two meals from it. Great customer service. The food is always fresh and they have many options for vegan and GF. You have to try the Sunday brunch with the bottomless drinks. It can't be beat. Only problem is the dogs allowed on the porch. When it gets windy you have to block your food from all the hair but that's the norm in college Park so you have to get used to it. This place was recommended by a friend and we're glad we checked it out. It's a 30's themed small restaurant with fresh cooked food.  Although everything is from scratch it did not take long for our food to come out. I got the chicken fried chicken which was excellent. It's one of the less expensive items on the menu and was huge. Definitely enough for two meals. The flavor was excellent and green beans that came with it were some of the best I've ever had. My wife is gluten-free but since it's all from scratch there were options an it was easy to make modifications. She got the fish which she loved. The only let down was the tater tots appetizer which was more like hash browns. Might have just been an off night. Friday nights they have some live music which was fun. Although the place is a little pricey we thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommend you check it out if looking for something fresh and unique.
