I have been doing physical therapy for about a year to deal with multiple health issues such as a broken leg, neuropathy, and Crohn’s. Physical Therapy helped to a point, but I was looking to take my progress to the next level. I was looking for a place that understood what I was going through and could create a plan to achieve my goals. Outrun Your Fork checked all those boxes! I met with Tony who listened and asked questions and left me feeling confident in starting to work with them. Then I started working with my trainer Ray and nutritionist Nancy who are both knowledgeable and great to work with. The workouts are not easy, but I went from dreading to looking forward to them. I have gained stability, strength, and confidence as I use my cane less and less. The support and guidance provided on my nutrition are helping me to gain muscle and eat foods to support my Crohn’s. An all in one place If you are looking for a place that offer personal training and has also a nutritionist, but in addition to that will treat you like a person not a number, you need to go to Outrun your fork in Westfield. I’ve been eyeing that place for a while and when I was at the peak of my struggles with food cravings, and having difficulty getting to have a healthy lifestyle, Tony and the team for Outrun your fork came to the rescue. They gave me the support I need to manage my food cravings through a plan that I did with other people so I was engaged and motivated. The workouts are fun and so far never the same. The instructors are there to motivate/encourage you and make sure you are doing the right thing, which for me was a big differential from other places with huge groups and I was always embarrassed to ask a question and most of the time was doing the wrong thing. They hold you accountable too with monthly(I guess) weight in and measuring to track your progress and see where else could you do to get better. I’m came to Out Run Your Fork a little over a year ago, right out of 3 months of physical therapy for a severe herniated disc. As an active person, I was eager to get back to working out but in a way where I wouldn’t aggravate my back issues. What I love most about the team is they customize everything for their clients, they automatically tell me how to modify anything for my back, have recommended stretches and exercises to strengthen it. I have made SO much progress in mobility and strength over the past year, every session is a great workout and as a busy mom with young kids I love that I’m in and out in a half an hour. I have been coming to Out Run Your Fork for 5 months now. I am very happy I made this choice, it’s had a positive impact on my health and mind. I love working out in groups and doing personal sessions. The space is always clean and each work out session is interesting. Trainers give hands on instant feedback and adjustments during the workouts and just the right amount of encouragement.

My son and I have been working with Out Run Your Fork Sports Nutrition program in order for him adjust his body/fat ratio while maintaining his current weight. He has had great success! We are a busy household and having the ability to follow a custom plan, along with recipes, took out all the guess work of how to get him the right amount of protein, veggies, etc…, and not have him loose weight or gain the wrong type of weight while I try and figure it out. My husband and I have been working out with ORYF in Westfield consistently for over a year. We found that we do better in a co-ed gym with small group instruction that occasionally ends up being a personal training session. Melissa, Tony and their trainers make the sessions fun and are all very supportive. We trained at our own pace, slowly building up our strength and avoided injuring ourselves. Along the way Tony and Melissa have given us a lot of advice about nutrition and workouts and guided us to the point where we were ready to kick it up a notch or two. My wife and I have been working out with Out Run Your Fork (ORYF) in Westfield consistently for about a year and an half with a break due to the pandemic. We found that we do better in a co-ed gym with small group instruction that occasionally ends up being a personal training session. Tony, Melissa, Ray, Teresa and Michelle (the 5 trainers) make the sessions fun and are all very supportive. For our schedule, we normally workout with Melissa. We trained at our own pace, slowly building up our strength and avoided injuring ourselves. Along the way all 5 trainers, but Tony and Melissa especially, have given us a lot of advice about nutrition and workouts and guided us to the point where we were ready to kick it up a notch or two. My husband and I were looking to join a gym that was more personalized and geared towards our different needs. I wanted to get stronger physically, work on my weak core and he was looking for a regiment that would make him more active and help with his shoulder pain. We found #outrunyourfork that was perfect for us. I’m getting stronger and his shoulder has almost healed and we’re both working out far more than we did earlier. Personal trainer Melissa and nutritionist Tony were fabulous to work with . I had been in such a rut from overworking during covid months March 2020-March 2021! ! I was desperate to start a program and heard about Tony and Melissa from another real estate agent in my office . I started with the Out Run Your Fork family four months ago. I came in after not exercising and eating poorly for about two years. So clearly I needed help. And help I received. The facility is brand new and located in Westfield, NJ. It is very clean and follows a strict cleaning protocol which is key today. The personal training offered by owners Tony and Melissa has been very effective in getting me back on track. They tailor workouts to my specific needs and I definitely feel like I’m stronger today. I enjoy my time working out and I know everyone there is looking out for me. Tony is the person you go to when you realize crap, I need to get it together. I have trained for the past 15 years, with a coach, gym classes and after my second child and two new businesses I ditched my training to the curb. I did some training sessions independently here and there but the fear of diastis recti and poor pelvic flooring just got me frustrated as I didn't want to injure myself. Yet, I wanted to go back to the pre-baby person in training. Tony reminds you to eliminate the crap story you tell yourself and to do the work. He has also helped me tremendously with identifying my deficiencies so that I can become stronger. I never like asking for help because I am a doer and I live by figuring it. Tony and his team have offered me the environment to build a strong person without comparing myself to the pre-baby person. Absolutely critical. We're called Out Run Your Fork for a reason. You can't out run a bad diet. That's why we have two nutrition specialists on staff with over 60 years of experience combined!

We create custom workout and nutrition programs for each person based on three things
• Your Goal
* Your Schedule
• Your Budget
The program has to fit all three criteria in order to have a program to, not create not just short term success, but long term success as well.

There really isn't a secret. It's simply doing the little things consistently every day.

The reason I go into fitness is because I loved it. But, as the years went on, I realized how much of an impact we can have on people's lives. WE build confidence. Help people reach their goals, hopes and dreams physically. It enhances them emotionally and mentally... there's so much potential to have a tremendous impact. I've seen people get better jobs just because they started working out and eating better.

One person, for example, was always tired and negative. It affected his performance at his job and his relationships at home. He was frequently late to work, complained about traffic and when he got home he would eat dinner and then collapse on the couch to watch tv.

All that changed when he started working out with us. First his mood changed. He wasn't so tired anymore. His energy improved and he started sleeping better. He would arrive for work on time, get more done in less time and was more positive about his workload. He actually was enjoying it. When he got home he was still energetic. He would have dinner, spend time with his kids and then chat with his wife before laying down to bed.

This didn't go unnoticed at work. His boss quickly promoted him, gave him a raise and more responsibility, He loved the challenge and soon had a team of people to carry out the work. His relationship with his wife and kids improved and they were no longer talking about how miserable dad was. They actually looked forward to him coming home from work.

There's more to the story, but it is not uncommon for people to have a complete turnaround in their lives when they have the right coach and mentor.

This is what excites me. Each and every day I have the chance to have a profound influence on people's lives.

I believe that people should be treated as people and not as a paycheck. Most gyms I worked at didn't see it the same as me. I always wanted to do what was best for the client. And because of that I was rewarded. I was the number one sales person just about every month at every club I worked at. Of course, I was also always at odds with senior staff and ownership. I refused to sell something that wasn't in the best interest of my clients.

I started this business so that I could give people the absolute best experience, treat them fairly and help them achieve their dreams. I want people to be much better off than they were before because they had worked with us.

The right client who should choose us is the person who appreciates the high touch level of service that we provide. Training and nutrition are part of that equation. With over 30 years of experience, we understand the different phases of people's lives and we can help them navigate those phases in order for them to get the gbest possible outcome.

While we are very competitively priced, the right client is not the bargain hunter. We strive to provide the best possible experience and change people's lives.

Yes, we allow clients the ability to do either virtual training, in-person training or a combination of both. It's really up to the client. Clients don't have to commit to one or the other and they can schedule wither at any time with ease.

It's also important to note that we are not new to the Virtual Training arena. We've been providing Virtual or Online options for people as close as Queens, NY and as far as Saudi Arabia and India.

We really do have the most intensive cleaning and safety protocols.

• Of course every one is screened prior to entering the facility.
• Of course we have hand sanitizer.
• Of course clients have their own equipment.
• Of course we provide at least 250 square feet of space for each client
• Of course temperature is taken, hands are sanitized, etc.

But here's some of the extras

• We clean our equipment and surfaces first and sanitize second. Everyone has some level of dirt and oil on their hands. This needs to be scrubbed off first, otherwise disinfectants can not reach the surface below the layer of dirt an oil. So, we clean first!
• after scrubbing surfaces and equipment we thoroughly sanitize using products that are certified to kill many different nasty diseases including MRSA, H1N1, flu, Ecoli, and more... including COVID-19
• We've installed an Aerus Air Scrubber to add an additional layer of protection. This amazing technology creates particles that disinfect and sanitize the air as well as all the surfaces in the studio. At night it has an option to radiate the facility with ozone, which ensures that all those nasty little bio-hazzards are no longer alive.
