Other reviews made this place sound like a great destination. On a Saturday night there was only one other couple dining which may tell you something. The food was very plain with little flavor. A little salt could have gone a long way but none was on the tables. The chicken “Our Way” is more like a “No Way” and the pasta primavera had plenty of pasta but not much primavera. Been to Our Thyme And Table a couple times. Food is always DELICIOUS!! The servers are great and help as much as they can. The owners Lemont and Karyn go out of there way to talk to all the guest and make sure their customers are happy !! They will try to accommodate any way they can. It's a shame that service is poor here, one person greets you, the same person seats you, that same person takes your drink order, that same person has to go behind the bar and make your drink order, that same person has to take your appetizer order and eventually your dinner order. Mind you, we were the first party to enter for the dinner crowd on a Friday. Had this establishment put extra help on earlier (bartender, hostess, ), this experience wouldn't have been half bad. Went here tonight in the hope of having a nice dinner to entertain my brother down from NJ. Arrived at 5:35, got seated and our order for apps and drinks was taken right away. drinks and apps arrived but the waitress forgot to come back for our dinner order. After 30 minutes we got someone's attention to finally take our order. After waiting until 7:05 we got up and paid the bill for the drinks and apps because it was obvious that we weren't getting dinner tonight. Service sucked!!!! More...

Great friendly owners and unforgettable food! Went to celebrate our wedding day and couldn’t have picked a better place! My husband and I had previous been to Our Thyme & Table and the prime rib and all you can eat shrimp were to die for. We just had to take our families there and we will continue to take everyone we know there. All local and fresh food with a little bit of creativity from the chef makes the meals delicious. Food was complete garbage. Fried chicken was burned on the outside and raw in the middle. This was after we waited FOREVER to get it. French fries came out separately and were inedible - sopping with grease. Told the server who practically rolled her eyes at me. Manager refused to take it off the bill even though I took only the one bite and there was actual blood on the plate. Instead offered a dessert that she claimed was made in house but looked store bought and as if it were 2 weeks old. When we got the bill there were 2 drinks added to it that we didn't order or receive. That took forever to get straightened out. I do not know how this place has a single decent review. We were on our way south on 13 and wanted something quick. I am so glad we stumbled across this GEM! WOW!!!! It's been a VERY long time since i've been able to not just enjoy the meal, but enjoy the experience. The owners Lamont and Karen were incredible. Just great people. The food was unreal! I'm not kidding. My only complaint is that we don't live here and that sends me into a deep depression. We will try everything to stop back through here on our way back up. Okay enough if my raving about the place and atmosphere and owners...let's talk FOOD. Here's what we had: Brisket: Tender and flavorful! The gravy was delicious, it was cooked perfectly and my wife wouldn't let me eat too much of her because it was that good. :) Fried Chicken: BEST FRIED CHICKEN IVE HAD IN A VERY VERY LONG TIME!! OH MY GOODNESS! I can't express how good this was. Not greasy whatsoever, perfectly seasoned (i didn't have to salt it at all) and the gravy that it comes with should be patented and sold for millions. I literally dunked my drumstick in it and swirled it around. Get this without hesitation if you like fried chicken. Sautéed Spinach: I mean COME ON?!! Who makes spinach taste like this? So so good! Appetizers were good, dinner was not! Said crab cake had little filling, it was all filler, very little crab and the bottom was burnt. Drinks tasted fine but very little alcohol, service was poor didn’t check on table very often, a large table arrived 20 mins after us had food and ate before we received ours. My fiancé and I had dinner and drinks there tonight and everything was AMAZING! I had the prime rib, which was cooked to perfection, and she had the brisket with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. What a wonderful new addition to Smyrna. It’s not often you find a restaurant that has great food, great service, great ambiance, and great staff but Thyme checks all those boxes and more. We ordered the bang bang shrimp, brisket, Caesar salad, my son loved his Mac and cheese, and chocolate cake for dessert ;) their drink selection is also excellent and delicious. What put the place over the top for us and will have us coming back as regulars was the owner coming over and introducing herself and giving my son gold fish before his food came out, and the country line dancing!!
