What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Our Accounting Services include QuickBooks Data Entry, Reconciliations, QB File reviews, Sales Tax, Payroll, and Integrations with other software programs.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
A good accountant these days has to really know the software they are using. If you are not sure what you are doing then you can really screw up the records. We are Certified Pro Advisors in QuickBooks so we are a great fit if you use QuickBooks Online or Desktop. However, we don't work with any other accounting software (except for Apps that integrate with QuickBooks) so if you use one other than QuickBooks we would not be a good fit.
I think a good accountant is not only good at his/her job but is also a great communicator. After all one of the big reasons you use a bookkeeper is to get insight on your business performance. If you can't get that from your current bookkeeper/accountant in a timely manner then that is a problem.
What do you love most about your job?
Here at OSS we are very process driven. I think that is one of the keys to success with any accounting system that is setup. What I love to do is turn chaos into order and then see the satisfaction and confidence from my clients knowing their back office is in check.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My partner started the business and her inspiration was that she used to own another business with her husband and she took care of the accounting side. She enjoyed it so much (and was really good at it) that she decided to branch off and start her own bookkeeping business.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are big accuracy and communication. As a business owner you need information that you can use to make important business decisions. We not only want to do the bookkeeping work but do it in a manner that gets you the information you need when you need it.
Outsourced Bookkeeping
We will handle some or all of your bookkeeping from our office. We will work with the client to setup a system that works for everyone.
Payroll
We also offer payroll services. This is usually done in conjunction with outsourced bookkeeping services but can be done separately as well.
QuickBooks Training
We offer One on One training where you can come to our office or we can train on the phone and sharing a computer screen so we can walk you through the training . We can train on QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
QuickBooks File Review
If you are worried the things aren't setup right or there are problems you don't know how to fix then we will do a review of your QuickBooks File. After the review we will let you know what looks good and make recommendations on what needs attention. We will give you a thorough description of the problem and then giving you the option if you would like us to fix it or if you would like to fix on your own.
QuickBooks Setup
If you are not sure which QuickBooks Program is right for you then we can help you figure that out. We will gather the information from you and make a decision as to which program would be best and why. We can also walk you through the various features of each program.
