Starting with the Oceanside Bakery, I knew the food at a second location would be great! The Bunker House has delicious pastries, sandwiches, share plates like charcuterie and flatbreads topped with figs and other unique creations. There is a cozy wine bar, outdoor areas, and the renovated 1846 Historic building holds its old charm. There is Live music 🎶 and happy hours to top it off! More...

Although it was not busy when I got there, I ordered a turkey sandwich and it took 45 minutes to arrive. However, it was a very good sandwich. I overheard people around me being told by the service personnel that some critical component of the dish they ordered was unavailable... like olives, or arugula. But again, when dishes are finally delivered everybody said they were very delicious. They have only one NA beer, Heinecken, available. Seating on the patio is great, and comfortable, for a big party. No free parking nearby, expect to spend $3 to $6 at the parking garage across the street. The kitchen challenges may have been unique to the night I was there, so I'm actually included to try them again in the future. Place is cool and totally chill. Great for coffee or wine. You can actually have a drink and talk or get work done. Beer line up is weak and unoriginal. But whatever. Staff is awesome.

Food is really good. Service is good. Espresso machine not workingPaper cups. I wrote business with some comments but there was no response. That pretty much sums the attention it's being put into the place. Lots of potential. Outdoor is great for groups but I doubt they can support a large crowd. It doesn't seem to be anyone at the helm. Having so many other coffee places around it needs some TLC. The coffee side some cool details but it is still very un inviting. The wine section it's cozy and makes u want to stay. More...

The place is great, love the design and location. Staff is super friendly and their menu is great! 4-stars only because I had French toast one day and mini waffles the other day and both seemed a bit dry but still very tasty and aesthetic. Will come again.

Breakfast was kinda yucky, tbh! We ordered two of the toasts, the Mediterranean and the avocado and pickled onion. Biggest complaint was how dry they were. The toast was cold and unbuttered, and the toppings were just... dry chopped raw vegetables. There was no glue to hold it all together, no sauce, no seasoning, not even salt. A basalmic would have been great, or even a cream cheese or Greek yogurt sauce. Anything! It was really unpleasant to eat in toast form and I ended up just eating mine like the world's lamest salad and leaving the toast. My dad ordered the breakfast sandwich and the eggs were cold, croissant was dry. When we asked for butter, they said they didn't have any, which is weird for a restaurant to not have any butter. Cute decor, cute location, but alas. More...

Ocean side, CAWe were heading to Porto Nuevo, B.C. It was nice, here. Hanging with my Hermano. We had to get coffee, excellent. And Their breakfast was amazing. Little Hermano/ 6'1 had a Breakfast burrito and Espresso. It looked great. I had avocado toast . ( Never seen so many choices for avocado toast ) There were many places to sit, indoor / outdoor etc. Great for a date place. The only issue I had was my avocado lacked flavor. Maybe add celery salt, or something !I would return More...

Decided to come by on a Sunday morning to meet a friend for breakfast. We were there when it opened, and were only able to order a drink because the pastries had not arrived. We were super bummed that we couldn't stay. We opted for a different nearby spot for breakfast. Hope to come back soon. More...

Yummy coffee that did not hurt my sensitive stomach! I ordered a hazelnut latte with almond milk. So smooth. My husband ordered a cortado. It was also great. The decor is definitely on the older side. It could really use a bit of love and care to make it a bit more polished, and keep the traditional look. More...

Great seating and plenty of space for larger parties. Good for studying and/or working. Cute outdoor patio as well so the space definitely has options! Easy to get to as well and parking is all around, although it would be hard to park near during sunset market. The passion guava lemonade with a shot of matcha was exactly what I didn't know I wanted. It was so good that I finished it way too quickly. The vanilla rose latte was a great balance of bold, rich coffee and a hint of sweetness from the rose syrup. My friend loved her chipotle chicken sandwich and would recommend it. Definitely excited to come back and try some more options! More...

Trying to find a place in Oceanside to have breakfast and came across this place. It used to be Succulent Cafe. I always thought it was a cute space! We have been here a couple times. The first time we had the banana nut mini waffles and Mediterranean toast. The second time we shared an egg, avocado & bacon sandwich and the plain french toast sticks. All were good.We sat in the outdoor patio and were pretty much by ourselves. Both times we've been here, it hasn't been too busy. They have some outdoor seating front and also in the back.It looks like they also serve dinner so will have to come back for that! All in all, I think the space is nice and it's a decent place to have breakfast.
