These are the best meat pies ever! The vegetarian options are my favorite, like the spinach and feta, but I would never say no to a bite of the lamb pie, too. The turnovers are fantastic! LOVE these meat pies and scotch eggs! I get them every year during the Escondido Renaissance Faire at Oscar's food booth, and they are the perfect on-the-go food there while I'm running around as a pirate. During this COVID-19 ordeal, the Esco Ren Faire was cancelled, so I was sad I couldn't get my meat pie / scotch egg fix, but then a friend told me Oscar was doing frozen delivery! My mind was blown, and my stomach was grumbling, so I messaged and put in an order right away. Got them, and this past week my taste buds have been in heaven! They cook perfectly in my convection toaster oven, perfectly crisp and flaky. I'm burning through my stash pretty quick though, so I'm gonna have to put in another order soon.
