Just happened across this place. I took the line as a good sign to start. We are very impressed with everything from the politeness of the wait staff, bus boys and managers. Everyone was helping out to include the managers. That is something that I always look for if it's busy. They were clearing tables and sweeping the floors just like anyone else. Leading by example!! Â The overall Vibe of the place was very positive and upbeat The food was amazing. Our waitress Sophie was awesome. She was always smiling, very friendly and helpful with her recommendations. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is there is always room for improvement somewhere. I guess the only "negative" is the capacity. Which they have an outdoor patio for use in warmer weather. I was looking forward to pancakes. I checked the waitlist and added my name for a 29 minute wait. Showed up accordingly and was told it would still be an hour wait even though I was 3rd on the list. Walked out. So disappointed. Why do you have a waitlist if it isn't accurate? More...

In town visiting and we ordered curbside service from this awesome restaurant! Â Everything was delivered to our car piping hot. The ingredients are fresh and wonderful. The portions are generous and the price are reflective of the portion size. The omelets are huge and baked in the oven. The ingredients are super fresh, I had the vegetarian omelet and it was stuffed with fresh veggies. My sister had the ham, cheese omelet and added mushrooms to it. Sooo tasty! We shared a side of bacon and hashbrowns with onions. Super fresh and great! Since I love Dutch baby I ordered one of those for later with a side of strawberries and bananas. Absolutely delicious! Great coffee. Large selection. Lots of pancake crepe & waffle dishes. Traditional sides like hash browns, sausage etc. . Stopped in for breakfast here this morning. We checked in online, and even though the restaurant was packed, we only waited a few minutes for a table. Â I ordered the farmer's scramble, my husband wanted to try the apple pancake, but didn't think it'd be enough food so he ordered the sausage and eggs to go with. Our meals were fine. The service was great. Our coffee cups stayed filled. But what really put this place over the top is the apple pancake. The description on the menu does not do it justice. It's practically an apple cake. It was probably 8in in diameter, an inch and a half thick. Apples layered throughout but somehow still remaining light and fluffy. We love coming to breakfast here.The food/service/coffee is greatMy kids get hot chocolate and chocolate chip pancakes, they love itThe bacon and eggs, Santa fe omelets, eggs Benedict, and more are just fantasticThe wait on Sunday can be long if you just walk in and ask for a table, it's better/easier to go to the Yelp app and virtually add your party to the queue And check in with the host as you arrive

Completely over this place. They have good food so we keep going back but that's done now. Almost every single time we order something is missing. It's been as small however very significant as butter/syrup for pancakes, IDK about you but what am I going to do with my pancakes w/o syrup. They've forgotten side items and once an entire entre. Was super nice my Hub went and picked up breakfast for Mother's Day today but the food was cold because nobody was answering the phone for curbside so he had to go only to get home and my food wasn't even in the bag! Had a layover in Normal and decided to get some breakfast while I waited for my next flight. It was my first time in the town and the people were all so friendly. The service at the restaurant was great and the energy was very light and casual. The food was also really good and came out fairly quick. Made a point on a sub zero day to call in to get on the wait list. We were told it was first come first serve, or to get on the app to hold a place in line. Great. Did that. Get there when we're supposed to. The app is telling us we're next in line. Check in to be told to go back and wait in the car for 20 minutes. Frustrating when the app and the restaurant are telling you two different things, and you're driving from out of town. More...
