Been working with OPTC for over a year. Where I started only get get stronger, the results have far surpassed my expectations. I am down over 12 lbs. now have a 21% body fat which is amazing. I feel better,stronger and healthier. Yes it is hard work and the workouts will kick your butt, but Ben and Stephanie truly want to see you succeed with whatever your goal is.  I highly recommend them to anyone who needs someone to push them.  They are the best. My son Hector has trained with Ben all summer. Ben is hands down one of the BEST trainers in Orlando! Ben is professional, knowledgeable & pays attention to the small details. Héctor will be a Freshman this fall at Timber Creek HS & I feel that he will be ready for the baseball tryouts. Ben is a great motivator. He has definitely motivated my son to push harder through workouts. He has more strength & flexibility since working with Ben. We definitely will continue to work with Ben in the offseason! More...

My son started working with Ben in May and in just 4 months he has gained strength, speed and muscle. He shaved a whole second off his 60, ended his season with a . 4 ERA in Perfect Game Tournaments, and finished his last summer tournament with a double and a triple. As a former college athletic trainer, I can honestly say that Ben not only knows what he’s doing but loves what he’s doing. I'm going on 3 months of giving this "Personal Training" thing a chance. From Day 1 Ben has been very professional and knowledgeable, testing my limits and personalizing a plan for my needs specifically. it is great to have this 1 on 1 style and the flexibility of sessions is great for my schedule. I recommend optical performance training to anyone who needs coaching and a guide.. or even if you are an experienced athlete. More...

As my last week of working out with Ben comes to an end, I am thinking about all the workouts he has put me through. This was the first time I’ve ever had a personal trainer and I have loved every minute (well mostly). Although I won’t be a client at OPTC, I’ve gained a true friend in Ben. He has changed my self confidence, increased my strength and taken me to a next level that I never thought was possible. I was a trainer myself. I've worked with Ben. He was our top trainer. Not one complaint from his clients, only great things to say about Ben. Ben's knowledge of how the body works is impeccable. He even helped me with my rotator cuff issue. I had injured my rotator cuff in the gym so bad, I couldn't lift my arm up past parallel and it was painful. Ben put me through some in depth exercises and hands-on stretches to improve my shoulder ROM to 100% and the pain subsided. I highly recommend Ben to anyone who wants to reach their fitness goals. I played college football against Ben. He actually played for my school's rival. The rivalry between our schools was very intense and still is. They hate us just as much as we hate them (faculty, coaching staff, trainers, managers, water boy, etc.). I said that to say this.....Ben's a great trainer. I've been playing professional football for about 5 years now, and I also have a background in exercise science, so I don't trust too many people to train me, especially someone from my rival school. That alone says a lot about what kind of person and trainer Ben is. I highly recommend any athlete or anyone who's trying to reach their fitness goals to go see him. More...

I've been working with Ben for six months now. When I started, I had been out of weightlifting for about a year and had some thoughts about what I needed to work on: quads, shoulders, etc. Ben showed me that working on weaknesses that I was not in tune to (glutes, hamstrings, back) made me stronger overall. Hard truth: it is not easy working on weaknesses, but I have had successes in strength gains and muscle building by trusting Ben's program. Ben works with high-level athletes but has always answered my questions about form and mechanics without condescension. I have seen Ben work with clients of all abilities, and he maintains a good balance of encouragement and motivation without cheerleading or patronizing. If you want to work with a trainer who individualizes your growth and fitness, in an environment capable of keeping your workouts varied and challenging, I stongly recommend Optimal Performance.
