Having no experience in the field I am trying to get into lead me to believe that my pay would start off very minimal. However, I was wrong! I had such an amazing experience working with Kendra O’Bryant. I had been seeking a position for quite some time. I was having trouble finding a good fit for me, a position that met my needs for challenge, growth, connection, collaboration, adventure, and prosperity. I was looking for a change in direction away from what I have been doing most of my working life feeling very pigeon holed and had worked with several other recruiters outside of Opti. From the beginning to getting the job that I wanted she stood by me step by step. I went into the Vancouver location, front desk staff was amazing as well as other staff present even management. I want to start off by saying that I went with a job outside of Opti Staffing Group. That being said, the service was so great, I am still leaving them a review. I was having a hard time with applying to jobs after a year long medical condition from the military. I would wait weeks only to receive rejection letters or emails from potential employers. I have never really experienced this so much before so I went to them for help. I called them and I was set up with an appointment for the following day. I met my recruiters J and Summer. They listened to what kind of jobs I was looking for and the next day I had a call from them about an interview for a job! The Opti PDX staffing team and Megan in particular are absolutely fantastic! I applied not long ago and we haven't found a fit quite yet, but I feel like Megan and the team there truly cares about your needs and wants when finding an assignment for you, unlike other agencies that are solely using you to place in spots that are high turnover to make a buck off of you. Positive experience. In my first meeting with Jessica, she vetted me and my skills pretty extensively. She took a lot of time to figure out which opportunities could be right for me given my specific situation and my special-snowflake transportation issues! I completed one temp assignment and was set to do another, and was excited because I had just received a permanent offer which I was planning to take. I had a wonderful experience with Opti Staffing! When I went in for my first interview I was set up with Jes Adams. She took the time to really listen to my thoughts and what I was looking for in a job and I walked out of the office that day with two interviews already set up for me, which eased my mind so much since I was unemployed and needing to find a job quickly. I ended up with the opportunity to work for a wonderful company that I am still employed at and it wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Jes! I've had the pleasure of meeting Michelle K. at a career fair in Seattle shortly upon moving to the city. Michelle is a phenomenal person that is super friendly and very helpful. Most importantly, she knows what the heck she's doing. I was completely lost in the process of finding a job and was getting to the point where I was beginning to worry if I'll ever find the right one. This place is great. My only issue is they need to find another company that handles drug screening. The agency hooked me up with a real good job and even though i passed the drug test the job wanted to wait for my lab. ..to make a long story short...the lab forgot to send off my results and the agency wanted me to take another drug test because of the UA center messed up. I couldn't do it because i went home and celebrated getting my first job in Portland since moving from California and i smoked some marijuana. Now im still jobless but i gave the agency 5 stars they just need to find a different drug screening provider More...
