Our group, ConnectHer, hosted our kick-off event at Open Space and it turned out amazing! Exactly how the leadership team envisioned. Lynette was so generous with her space and allowed us to have free reign with whatever we needed to use - she went above and beyond and even found us a sound system to rent! We hosted 30 women in her beautiful, bright facility and had compliments from all who came that it was the perfect venue for our event. Open Space was the venue for my wedding and reception in late June 2019. I couldn't have found a more beautiful setting and accommodating owner! Lynette was instrumental in helping us pull off a most beautiful & memorable event! The building was perfect even as the guest list kept growing. The grounds were perfect for wedding photos and wedding guests to enjoy. Lynette provided referrals for the DJ, catering and upgrades. I’ve partnered with Lynette many times for various business needs in Open Space. It’s a great venue...intimate and quaint. ..and now the outside area is even better after a stone patio was out in!! I’ve seen her give tours many times to couples and groups...always professional, approachable and flexible to work with. Lynette is a long time business owner in other companies in SF. This venue is GORGEOUS! Not to mention affordable, I was so thrilled to find Open Space for my daughters highschool graduation party. It is the perfect setting! There is a good amount of space to work with and it's very welcoming and inviting and open! Not to mention clean and well kept on the outside grounds as well. I was so surprised by how helpful Lynette was, not many people are going to go out of their way the way Lynette does, she truly cares and truly loves to make an event beautiful! I would highly recommend Lynette and Open Space, we had an amazing experience! Lynette was nothing but respectful and helpful and sweet. Perhaps some of these not so great reviews i see are coming from a bride-to-be with less than stellar planning skills. Had I seen that the bridal suite needed a hook for my dress I simply would have brought it up to Lynette before the wedding day and she would have IMMEDIATELY made arrangements to get those hooks hung. Lynette is beyond accommodating! However she isnt a magician and couldn't have widdled a larger wooden dance floor for you ‍♀️ Pretty sure you saw the room beforehand so it shouldn't be a surprise when the dance floor gets a little bit tight! I absolutely love Open Space! I have been there a couple times and the space is gorgeous and the owner is super nice plus they have the Rose Meadow Photography in that space as well which is also amazing. Their prices are reasonable and are a perfect place to host a work party, bridal shower, wedding reception or small wedding. It is a beautiful venue and offers a gorgeous set up for pictures indoor and outdoor as well. I also love that the owner truly has a passion for trying to make a small business owner's dream a reality. They want to provide a space you can rent out to make your small business more within reach. Whether you want to throw a party or hold a regular yoga class this place is perfect and you won't find nicer people to rent a space from or get your picture from.
