OnTheRoll Catering

On the roll catering was referred to us by a mutual friend and we were relieved right after our first meeting. Masha and her team made us feel so comfortable and they took care of all our needs from delicious food to rentals and everything in between.
Also I wanted to note that the venue didn’t have an excellent kitchen to say the least and we didn’t hear a word of complaint from any one of the team.

We hired On The Roll Catering for our Jewish wedding celebration. The girls had to be very creative and improvise a lot to prepare the food accordingly to the strict Kosher laws using our special utensils and the ingredients we provided. In addition, we asked to make everything gluten free. They took up the challenge. We not only had a superb celebration but got tons of compliments from our guests on the delicious food and impeccable service. A delicious variety of savory, flavorful, light, and heavier dishes. Chicken Ruby with Moroccan spices is a real treat. The salmon was very fresh and cooked perfectly with a tangy lemony side. We heard about Masha through a mutual friend when we were trying to find a company to cater our wedding. We needed someone who would help us with all the nitty gritty details of putting on a wedding, dealing with insane food allergies, ordering rentals, etc. .. Masha was up for the challenge with such enthusiasm and confidence. I have always been hesitant with catering due to the wide variety of food allergies in my family, but our initial conversations about the menu and what could be substituted went so well. We had a mixed background of vegetarians and vegans as well which she was able to accommodate easily. We were able to compose a bit of a varied menu (Russian, French, Italian, Vietnamese and Californian cuisine) and she presented a tasting for us that convinced us wholeheartedly we wanted to work with her.Masha was so flexible and easy to work with throughout the process, including things like helping us figure out logistics of rentals, offering her experience when we ran into issues with timeline, and most of all she definitely helped calm my wedding planning nerves!Our actual wedding day was absolutely perfect, her staff was really friendly and incredibly helpful with setting everything up and bringing our designs to life. But most importantly, the food was beyond delicious! We had so many people comment on how tasty it all was. Her Salmon Blinis, Wild Mushroom Bruschetta, Miso Crusted White Cod were among the highlights of the dinner. To make a long review short, I would absolutely recommend On The Roll to anyone looking for an exception chef and caterer. Over the weekend we got to experience Masha's culinary brilliance!  We had a family gathering over the weekend and I decided to try something new.  Everyone was happy with the food; it's quality, taste, and presentation went above and beyond. I ordered a dinner for my mom and it was delivered to her door steps freshly prepared and still warm. Her feedback about the quality and presentation of every item was extremely happy and highly positive! She loved the whole duck stuffed with braised cabbage and prunes, lamb kabobs, grilled vegetables, crab cakes, deviled eggs... She loved it so much that asked me if we can order from Masha again. Absolutely!! I'm looking forward to the end of the quarantine, so our family could get together and had dinner from the On The Roll Catering! Delicious, beautiful food. I can't say enough good things about working with Masha. From the beginning, she was responsive, thoughtful, and professional. When we had to change our venue at the last minute, she was flexible and understanding. The food looked as good as it tasted. Everything was plated beautifully. I particularly loved the steak chimichurri, the goat cheese fritters with honey, and mushroom empanadas. I would gladly work with Masha and On the Roll Catering in the future. More...

Masha is an incredible caterer! When you ask what type of food she makes, she says whatever you want: French, Mediterranean, Mexican, Italian, Russian. .. And she actually can prepare great food any style and it is always good. You just sit at the table and wish to have some more space in your belly. She also has a very light and easy going personality, I am definitely inviting "On the roll catering"  once again to take care of my next family event. More...
