Our reservation made 3 weeks in advance was not honored on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. My wife and I are in our late 70’s and travelled for hours to celebrate Mother’s Day with our sons family. Instead we experienced insulting and demeaning treatment. Their excuse was that they had a party of 30 coming. That is lack of planning on their part and no reason to mistreat us. Focus on customer service!!! The customer is always right! We got 4 forks for a party of 15!!! When we realized the kitchen couldn’t make our food, we asked for the check to pay for our drinks. We were told we have to pay anyway even though the food wasn’t ready. This could easily be solved by keeping drinks full!!! We asked multiple times for cocktails. No luck!!! More...

The service here is terrible! It has potential but is grossly understaffed. As a result we did not get the attention we deserved. They could greatly benefit from a hostess and a busser. We had to wait too long for everything. The bill was wrong when it finally came. We did like the food. But we will not return here any time soon. Miss my Maui, miss my island grindz. They got the good menu with some good home food. Indoor and outdoor dining. I know its basic and very simple, I ordered da loco moco which was da best and chicken appetizers, ohana ordered da chicken tacos. Food was spot on.

Great food, great atmosphere, great entertainment but Horrible service every time! We gave it 5 chances because we liked the food but every time we got horrible service. The guy who seems to be running the place is very nice. BUT he is the waiter, the bartender, the busser, the food runner, the hostest, and probably the expo to. So expect to wait a long time for everything while he trys to run a restaurant by himself. I watched 2 tables walk out last night because they were never greeted after about 20min of sitting there while we sat there with our empty drinks wanting to walk out too. we will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. Best entertainment for a Luau! JT’s fire performance was both breathtaking and mesmerizing . We enjoyed the Front row table to watch the show every half hour beginning at 7! The Hawaiian cocktails were fantastic especially Mai-Tai , Blue Island and the Chi-Chi’s. The food is outstanding , takes you right away to the islands . Wow!! I do not generally eat outside of the box I am a very basic plain food type person and when I was offered coconut rice which is so amazing and didn’t think it would be and their fried chicken with peanut sauce and a cabage salad that was to die for! !! If you’re scared to try it because it says Hawaiian don’t be on the pickiest person on the face of the planet and I was refreshingly surprised at how tasty the food was! Five of us went during the fire show. The cost was $30 a head per person with dinner included. Our food came before our salads. When we pointed this out our flustered waiter said he was busy and would get our salads to us “when he could”. My friend who ordered the vegan meal and was given a plate of multi colored mashes that were pasty and inedible. I got the chicken, which was thighs in what appeared to be soy sauce. The thighs were fatty and a light chicken breast option was not available. We gave 2 cards to split the check but one card was billed for both halves which we did not notice until later. We tipped the fire show fella, who did his best to entertain and left. I really love to support small business but can not in good faith recommend this one. **amendment: my husband said a friend of his has been since we went and had “good luck” He said the chicken was not good but the pork is great. So perhaps our experience is not the norm especially after reading the other reviews. More...

The ALOHA on the door followed by the Hawaiian isle chain caught my eye. Being from Hawaii I had to look at the menu. We were greeted with a How'z it, a friendly smile and a knowledgeable young man. The menu was diverse and he made everything sound delicious! We ended up ordering The Hapa poke bowl and Kalbi. I was surprised to see a Hawaii staple spam musubi and had to try one. Big shout out to the chef! This place did not disappoint! Poke was flavorful, fresh and the best I've tried in Florida so far. Kalbi was tender, flavorful and absolutely delicious.
