Pros: The facility, the equipment, and some instructors are very good. Cons: Hot tub is disgusting. Stay away. Sweaty people from the Sauna walk over to the hot tub, arrghhh ! !##$!. Lifeguards don't say a word. Kids aged 6–8 use the hot tub. I understand there are instructions, but aren't the lifeguards there to remind people in such cases? About the lifeguards: they do not sit in their designated area (chair) any more. One particular lady lifeguard sits in the corner and constantly works on her computer. We have left multiple complaints about this in the drop box. I think it would probably be better to apply for that job and continue to do my current job remotely from the gym. The facility used to be well managed before COVID, but not any more. Some people occupy the benches in the weight training area for a long time and watch their phones. It would be great if the staff could make frequent rounds and say a word to such people, at least during peak hours. Something is constantly not working in the pool or shower area. More...

At approximately 7:50 pm, my family and I were using the locker room after swimming when a staff member abruptly entered the room using a key. To my shock and dismay, I was in a state of undress at that moment, and despite my pleas for a brief moment to put on my clothes, the staff member refused and insisted that we vacate the area immediately. I love taking pilates via zoom but for the last two weeks I have been unable to join the class because of some change in how the center is setting up Zooms. Even when registered, it asks me to register again, then I need to log in to my own Zoom account for some reason, then I sit and watch a spinning beach ball with a message that someone will let me in soon (no one does). I advise people not to take any Zoom classes until they can get the technology, which is very simply, working right. More...

Great facility, great staff at NW Cary. Pool could use adult swim hours after 8 pm. Good value, but know that this isn’t the best gym in the world for loud powerlifters (check out CrossFit bro) or luxury finishes (Lifetime is for you) or billions of sports teams for kids (The Y welcomes you). But this is medical fitness done well high with a team of trainers, physical therapists, exercise instructors, massage therapists, and plain nice folks that make for a unique experience. More...

This is a review of the Cary Facility-- We have been members from pretty much the day it opened in here in Cary. Our experience has not been great over all. There seems to be lack of basic customer service desire on the part of the staff. We are especially disappointed in the lack of responsiveness to inquiry we make on front desk, where they don't seem to know answers to many questions and often tell us to fill out a form or request and for which we don't hear back. Their swim facility coordinators are especially unresponsive. Where do you have to wait 1 to 1.5 months for taking a private swim lesson! And that is WITHOUT any response from them on forms being filled out and follow-up voice mails to director of programs with zero response! I am at a loss.
