Great service. Lisa works really well with out puppy. She takes great care in giving him plenty of attention while teaching him at the same time. Not only did she begin training him the very first day, but with in just a few minutes of her positive reinforcement he was already able to follow some very simple commands. Best training you will ever receive. I TRULY LOVE THEIR WORK!!! I have two dogs my first, Dex, is a Canine Good Citizen he's done three levels of obedience and some agility. Dex is now training to be a therapy dog which is very amazing because when we first received him he would not let anyone touch him and through on the spot dog training we learned how to make him more social and now he cannot wait for people to pet him. I can truly say on the spot dog training is the best group of people for this job. They understand all aspects of the dog mind and guide you to understand it too. They offer multiple class including in home training. Their prices for classes are very fair and you receive so much for how low the prices are. I have been working with them for about a year and I love it. My second dog has just started classes and I already see improvement! More...

Lisa and Frankie are excellent trainers. I had Lisa over for in home training for my corgi/sheltie mix and she was able to help resolve some problem issues with jumping and greetings. Frankie is the trainer for the group classes and helped my collie mix obtain her CGC Title. Both use a positive training technique, firm when needed and are very patient with my dogs and ME! Really excellent trainer: Lisa Smith of ON-THE-SPOT DOG TRAINING. We contacted her, initially, for the Star Dog in-home training program for our Golden Retriever puppy (15 months old) an dour Bernese Mountain Dog puppy (9 months old). One had basic training in the past; the other none, really, other than shadowing the GR. Lisa really tailored each session based on what we wanted as well as how the dogs were progressing. she listens and fine-tunes her methods to each dog. It was a great program for us and for our dogs.
