Great pizza joint! Their lemon pepper hot wings was off the hook! We ordered 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 BBQ chicken. When we first saw the pizza we were like "um ok, doesn't look too good" but man do not judge a book by its cover cause the pizza was DELICIOUS! !! For me, this place is hit or miss! Sometimes they make the pizzas super delish by adding extra toppings and making the crust extra crispy, other times they hold back on the topics and don't bake the pizzas long enough so it's almost doughy. But overall it's the best pizza in town! More...

Delicious pizza, hot, fresh and straight from the authentic pizza ovens in house :-) I shared the buffalo chicken pizza and the Hawaiian, both had great quality toppings. There's a great selection of condiments, I love the hot honey that was available. The salad bar is organic too! Great atmosphere, lovely outdoor seating and a great place to watch sports too. This restaurant has been here four years I believe, since 2015, and before the personal pizza craze bandwagon that MOD joined and others in the bay area like Pieology. This is the first visit for a friend and I. We had lunch and used a e-coupon for baked rigatoni, buy one get one free. Using a e-coupon seemed complicated but finally ordered and paid. The baked rigatoni allows for up to 3 additional ingredients, so I chose meatballs, olives and red onion. Food was delivered to our table, the melted cheese toasted nicely. It was really good. I will try a pizza, next time I visit since they have special ovens imported from Italy.I was impressed the owner and operator, Bill Celli was there. When do you ever catch Gordon Ramsay at his restaurant? Bill takes his business seriously and personally. He was there making sure customers orders were perfect and even did a few redo's to satisfy customers. Bill will make it right. This is truly customer service and what I would do if I owned and operated a restaurant. What also impressed me is that he and his business are part of the local community of San Ramon and Danville. He has hosted many fundraising events for the schools and local youth teams. Arrived to pick up our take out order only to find (big thank you to the girl working the counter for her conscientiousness in checking my order before I left the restaurant) that one of the two pies we ordered was incorrect. The guy making the pizzas was visibly irritated that he had to redo my order and when I got the pies home the one that he had to redo was so undercooked and gummy that we couldn't eat it. I'd like to add that Bill the owner immediately contacted me after I posted this review and was very attentive and concerned. He offered his apology and a refund which I really appreciated. Overall 4.5 out 5, saw a Facebook promotional for a bogo pizza. The pizzas that I ordered were a goombah and a veggie pizza. The service was very quick in terms of making the pizza and cooking it and was overall very polite. As for the pizzas, they were very good, slightly salty to me but not too overboard. The crust was very good too and it's definitely up there in terms of quality of texture and taste. Anyways, it's definitely nice to now know that there's a brick style fire oven in the tri-valley. As a side note, I can imagine that the parking lot can be a slight pain to get into and find a spot, for it seems to be slightly small and that as of  2/1/19 they were doing construction to that general area. This is a good place for thin crust pizza. The red sauce was a little spicy, but not too spicy that I couldn't eat it. I liked how all thier ingredients looked and tasted fresh. Usually the pizza here is fast and great. Tonight was mediocre. First, it took really long to get or pizzas and when they came they were still undercooked when I asked for them to be well done. Second, they all had something hard and gritty in them like sand. Almost broke my tooth on one so had to eat slow and careful. Lastly, the Mediterranean, which is usually great, looked and tasted bland tonight, like the ingredients were just purchased from Safeway from a can, and had no olive oil on it. This pizza is excellent.  If you love crispy thin crust pizza this is your place!  No deep dish here, but who cares, as this thin is devine.  The best tomato sauces and an option for real buffalo mozzarella.  The salad bar was also full of wonderful dressings, real bacon and roasted chicken.  With all the specials going on it can be a real deal for the quality it brings. I have been remiss at posting reviews all year long and very remiss at posting an update for OFP.The Danville/San Ramon area has a problem with too many pizza places. This is one that not only belongs, it should be up at the top for the quality ingredients, the price point and for the fact that it is NOT A CHAIN (note- MoD is not the place you are looking for). My husband adores ordering a pizza here that is just the perfect size for him- with mushrooms, black olives and prosciutto. I enjoy the plain cheese pizza (if going for flat crust- this is my favorite), but it is the salad bar with the fresh and inspired ingredients that I could eat from every single day. Ah, the salad bar. $8.00 for a single trip, $11.00 for multiple trips and you will get some of the tastiest chicken, house made dressing and some top notch other ingredients. I'm surprised more places no longer offer salad bars, but am very glad this place does.5 beers on tap if you are into that sort of thing, wine and margaritas all offered here as well.Lastly, the owner, Bill is very personable, approachable and open to feedback. Something many small business owners should and could take note of and follow.This place is open during the construction of yet another strip type "mall" and please consider supporting a local, non- chain restaurant as a goal from now through 2019. So I tried a different pizza here because there were limited options open last night and I actually really loved the Kicker pizza. It has linguica, chorizo, banana peppers jalapeños and cholula and the spice level was perfect. The crust was perfectly crispy and the next morning i put a fried egg on it and it was a wonderful breakfast. I would highly recommend this pizza but still stay away from the Capeesh pizza unless they start putting real sopressata salami on it and not that crumbled salty sausage stuff. More...

Ordered for the first time through Door Dash and we loved it!    We ordered pepperoni, linguica, and mushrooms and the flavors were excellent.  Just the right amount of toppings.  I don't know how to explain it but the pizza seems lighter than your normal round table or mountain mikes which has left me craving it.  I guess there is just less grease. Recently had a gathering here for 15 people on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We sat outside and they came by often to check on us, and adjusted the umbrellas as needed for the sun and the wind. The food was delicious! Their pizza is soooo good!!! They use fresh ingredients and cook the pizza in front of you in a real wood fire oven. I usually get the New Yorker with a meat topping or the pepperoni. The crust is thin and and slightly grilled at the bottom gives it a perfect fold. The cheeses are fresh and goodness gooey delicious!!! Me and my kids were coming like twice a week then we had to take a break and then we couldn't stay away too long and started craving On Fire Pizza! On Fire Pizza is delicious!!! They make it fresh right in front of you and my extra crispy crust was amazing! We got the Staten Island and the Goombah and loved them both. Dangerously too close to work lol. Customer service stood out. People were just hanging out after eating because the ambiance is so inviting. Make sure you try their "stubborn" sodas they remind me of Italian soda. Perfect personal size that allows for about 2 slices of left over if you like to feel full and satisfied. Tip: Check for Yelp! specials. I came in, ordered 2 pizzas and drinks, paid with cash, then sat down and checked in on Yelp! That's when I noticed that I had missed out on 5% cash back for using my registered card. From now on, I must remember to check in with Yelp! first.I have been in here numerous times. The pizza is always perfect. I have to tell you that the owner, Bill, is not only a nice guy, but he knows his stuff when it comes to authentic Italian pizza. There are diplomas on the wall showing that he studied the art. My favorite pizzas are the Carne and the Goomba. This time, we tried Bacon & Bleu, which is excellent. They also have other specials that suit different tastes, like BBQ or spicy or plain.Of course you can choose to customize your pizza. They also have a salad bar. I dont think the pizza is good as people make it out to be. It just lacked flavor... I ordered 2 pizzas and the cowboy was better then the carne. the cowboy had a vary nice flavored dough, I thought the sweet bbq sauce paired well with it. the carne pizza on the other hand tasted disgusting minus the dough. It tasted as though it wasnt fully cooked, I had to pick off all of the ham, and there was no flavor coming from the sauce (to be honest I wasnt sure there was any sauce on the whole pizza). If it wasnt for the cowboy pizza I would have given it one star. With all of that being said, Ill go back and give that place a second chance with these changes- extra extra extra sauce, cooked longer, and changing of the ham to bacon. Maybe after the next time ill be able to change my review.

EDIT:Well after roughly 5 months, decided to go back and the pizza was a whole lot better. Dough was actually cooked this time, and actually enjoyed the pizza the second time around More...

We LOVE On Fire Pizza, it is amazing! This is my favorite CA pizza. The staff is exceptional, they really outdue themselves! My son & I go there all the time ( sometimes daily) and NEVER unhappy w/anything. They have the best wood burning ovens & besides the delicious pizza's they have fantastic meatballs & cannoli's. I was there again today & I wish I had a cannoli:( Actually it is a great place to meet friends or families.
