Omar Gutiérrez, Architect

For many years my wife and I had dreamed of owning a home that would be the perfect place to raise our children as well as the right place to retire. It is very hard to find a home that is perfect, or close to what you want. We found that out quickly after looking at many homes, and the ones that were close were out of our budget. That’s when we decided to build our own home on a parcel of land we found in the perfect town.

After visiting with a few architects, it was clear that Omar Gutierrez was the right one for us. He was more than willing to come out to meet us which was very thoughtful of our time. We had an opportunity to talk and get to know each other. He had a genuine interest to learn about us; our lifestyle, our likes, and dislikes, as well as our needs, now and in the future. This made us feel that he truly had an interest in us, and not in what would be easier for him.

The initial design stage went very well, he was able to capture our vision of what we wanted our home to look and feel like, all within our budget. The revisions were seamless, he was accommodating in every way to our tweaks and changing thoughts. We could tell that he had done his research on the Village ordinances because he would mention them when something was or was not permitted. He was also great working with our contractors because they were able to solve discrepancies quickly and easily. He was always available to take our call at any time of the day and prioritized the completion of our home.

I cannot stress enough that he was a great architect to work with. I would recommend him to anyone for any project. If we are ever in need of further architectural services we would definitely be calling Omar Gutierrez. More...
