I recenly left my very beloved dog for a week and hired SWIFTO so that he could stay in his own surroundings in my apartment where I knew he would be happiest. For seven days, four times a day, I received a detailed update along with a photo of our Mason, and it allowed me to enjoy our vacation knowing he was well looked after. Although a few hiccups to be expected in any business, texts were answered promptly, professionally and action taken to ensure Mason was well taken care of. As a former dog walker for Swifto, I cannot rave more about this company. The hiring process was extremely thorough, so you know they aren't hiring just anybody that applies. The Swifto Team is always so prompt about answering texts/emails, so I was never left with questions. All of the pups and families that I've met were always so kind and welcoming. Swifto is a great place to work! You have a lot of flexibility to determine your own schedule and routes, and plenty of opportunities to pick up walks in addition to your regularly scheduled ones. Working for Swifto can take you all around the city, which is fun if you prefer moving around and physical activity to being stationary! (You can get a pre-tax metrocard which comes in handy.) Swifto was the best dog walking company I worked for. They make sure they hire the right walkers and makes sure every walker has experience and training. so rest assure pet parents that you will be getting a great dog walker to walk your pup. They also provide meet and greets so I was able to meet pups before walking them which was not only great for us walkers but also great for the pet parents as well. I'm sure it provided some sense of security. I was able to walk the same fur babies which was great as well because you get to build a bond with the dog you walk with. I'm godfather to a very feisty Portie and right now my friend and I are both orthopedically challenged.  Enter SWIFTO !  Lifesavers indeed.  We can't walk our pup at nite, she is strong and willful and doesn't want to go out unless she feels like it.  Well SWIFTO's walker has been able to get her out the door even in rainstorm.  It's worth it to have peace of mind and not to have to walk our pupin the dead of nite or in the wind or pouring rain.  Definitely !5 stars. I have used Swifto for around 2 years and all of the walkers at Swifto are just amazing and go above and beyond. Just one example is that for months of me healing from a severe injury they would do things like bring up packages, get me water and pickup around my apartment before they took Daisy out. They are all very kind and great with dogs but also with humans which is a nice perk. They also are accommodating with last minute walk requests, 9/10 times they can make it happen. They are also better than I am at suiting dogs up in weather gear (booties, coats, etc) which is helpful. Best dogwalking service I have used. We had a wonderful experience with our Swifto walker Tim, who walked our dog Crash almost every day for the past two years. Tim was extremely communicative, caring, and reliable. He showed interest in Crash and treated him with affection (even though Crash is sometimes difficult to deal with). Over the years, Tim would always alert us if anything seemed "off" with Crash and would consistently provide detailed (and beautifully written I might add) summaries of what happened on their walks together. Tim's summaries, accompanied by adorable photos, truly made our day while we were away from Crash and in the office. We trusted Tim with Crash so much that we debated not moving from our current neighborhood so that we could keep him as our walker! We can't say enough good things about our experience with Tim and also had a pleasant experience working with Swifto to schedule and/or find a replacement walker for the few times Tim couldn't make it. I worked with Swifto for about a year and was very pleased with the quality of the walkers, the response time of the staff in general, and the ease of use with the dashboard. Swifto has been a godsend! We recently moved to the city, and needed to find a permanent dog walker during the work day. We've been using Swifto for 5 months and loved it! Their dog walkers are all so sweet and attentive, especially Jose Ortiz. He's been PHENOMENAL with our dog, Bud. All the walkers will send you updates, and if there ever is a schedule change on Swifto's end, they will take care of it for you. I've been using Swifto now for over 3 years, and I have to say both me and my dog absolutely love them! Lucy's walker is just so loving and caring, I would have never imagined that it would be possible to form such a bond. I also really love the detailed updates I get at the end of the walk, and the poop notifications of Lucy crack me up every time. <br>Customer service is impeccable, and Jo/Amanda/Alicia are super responsive and helpful with any question I have. Their billing is automatic too which makes everything easier, and when Lucy's walker is on vacation, they actually provide a meeting with the replacement walker. Listen up. These guys are LIFESAVERS!!!!! Have a last minute dinner you need to go to in the city and don't have time to go home and walk your pup? We booked with them for times when my husband travels on business and I'm out of the house 11 hours a day. We had to eyeball the GPS monitor every day because one of the first days we booked a 20 minute walk, the walker only went to the corner and back which should have taken 5 minutes. We talked to the walker about it directly and kept an eye on the route after that. The next time we tried to book with the same walker because she had a key to our house, we were told that she wasn't available and we would have to pay $15 to meet with another one and give them the key. It seems they have a high turnover because they hire very young irresponsible people. I don't think it's fair to charge your customers every time the previous walker decides they don't want the gig anymore. More...

We use Swifto and can't be happier with the service.  Each walker has been great!  With a regular schedule, we have a regularly scheduled, caring walker.  The best part of Swifto (besides the caring walkers) is the flexibility that Swifto provides.  We can cancel walks and move them around as needed.  Using the App we can easily add care instructions on a day-to-day basis (e.g. time of walk, feeding and length of walk).  Super service. ...Our dog approved the posting of this message :) More...

I've been using Swifto periodically over the last year or so. I'm very happy with their service and overall experience.<br>It's very easy to book walks online or on their app, and I love the GPS tracking as well as text message alerts. It's so great getting a little recap of the walk along with a picture!<br>Since I'm a periodic client, not regular, I've had a handful of walkers for my dog (whoever is available). There has never been a bad experience - all of them are great.<br>What's really nice is that they offer late night, weekend, and holiday walks at no extra charge. I'd give these guys 10 stars if I could.  I'm not the type who regularly writes reviews but I had to for Swifto.  They came to the rescue at the very last minute (literally hours before I'd requested services) to provide me with puppy sitting/walking services. .  They blew me away with their efficiency and friendliness.  Within minutes (less than 5 minutes) of signing up to schedule an appointment on their website Jo had called me to welcome me as a first time client and see if I had questions or special requests. She was charming and friendly and listened to my rather extensive requests (given he is just a puppy) eagerly.  She stayed in touch with text messages to let me know she had found someone at the last minute (Tom O.) and had the foresight to ask him to come back for each day I'd requested.  Tom O. accepted the job despite it only being a few hours from the time I'd asked and did exactly as I'd asked in my requests.  He sent an adorable photo of my puppy who seemed to be having an amazingly fun time with Tom and sent me a text message update afterwards.  I am speechless by the comprehensive and fast online system that Swifto uses which is a one stop shop for busy professionals like me without mucking me around and their "can do", friendly attitude from each of their staff members was a breath of fresh air to my day rescuing me out of a tight situation.  They deserve every one of their stellar reviews on Yelp (which I checked before booking them).  Don't hesitate to use them! This has been great. My wife didn't move here with me at first and I work 12 hour shifts. I needed someone during very specific times, and I have a dog that has a lot of special needs due to a spinal surgery. They provided me with a dog walker, Rafael, who has exceeded all of my expectations. He truly cares about Lucy. He sends me pictures and follows my instructions to the T. Unfortunately and fortunately my wife is moving here so we will have to go down to one day a week, but Lucy loves Rafael!!!! I would 100% recommend this company. An email about their new policies (yay, no more different prices for sporadic walking!) reminded me that I've been meaning to review these guys for some time. <br><br>I have a regular dog walker, but my job hours can sometimes be unpredictable so when I need someone to feed my dog and walk him in the evening short notice, Swifto is my go-to. No matter how short notice I've needed them, they've always come through. We communicate mostly in text, but the people on the administrative end are always so wonderful and professional. I have had several of their walkers walk my dog, but my favorite is Katherine. I haven't met her in person, but she's very sweet!<br><br>Certain features they use are also very reassuring, especially if you're a nervous parent like me.  Each walker has a profile so you can learn all about them after they're assigned, you're notified by text when the walk begins, you're notified when your dog defecates (especially helpful when you have a brat like mine), and you get to see through the GPS tracking where they went afterward. <br><br>I'm eternally grateful to Swifto for being such a great service in my time of need repeatedly and would recommend them to anyone who needs a dog walker. We have been using Swifto for over three years now, and my husband and I could not be happier! In that time, we've had several walkers through Swifto, all of which were good, but we won the jackpot with our current walker Mikayla. She is amazing. I can tell Mikayla loves our little dog Wally, and takes care of our little baby dog like she was her own. I'm never worried about Wally because I know she is in the best hands. And the best part are the amazing summary notes I get daily from Mikayla, telling me about their walk together, Wally's behavior, and any funny little things Wally might do during the day.  I look forward to these texts, as it really helps me understand what is going on with my pup, and puts a smile on my face. We were unhappy with our dog walker for our new puppy and wanted to make sure he was in the best hands possible.  We looked around briefly and it seemed obvious that Swifto was the way to go. Well - we couldn't be happier with our decision. We got so lucky with our walker, Ruben. We get a notification when he shows up, and leaves- along with updates during their walk and a daily picture. I'm super pleased with my experience using Swifto Dog Walking service for my pup. Was really excited to try Swifto. If you can do the regular schedule (= 3 regular walks a week) and you have a good walker, like we initially did it's great. When we moved to "sporadic" because I travel on business, our cost nearly doubled and we were assigned random walkers all the time no matter how far in advance we booked.  The walkers started showing up after the two-hour block we paid $35/walk for. The website is terrible and full of bugs; you cannot add additional walks (always receive an error no matter what device or browser). We asked for a credit for two missed walks and said we wanted to end our arrangement at the end of the current month, but Swifto cancelled all of our remaining walks instead leaving is in the lurch. I would look elsewhere unless you have a completely regular/unchanging schedule and are ok emailing and waiting 24 hours for a response every time you need to modify something. More...

I came to NY on a business trip last week with my dog. I searched online until I found Swifto. Emily, who does the scheduling is the best. She even told me there was a groupon available, which I really appreciated. She is sweet, totally on top of it and gets back to you immediately. No matter how naive my question may have been, she answered it kindly and patiently. I was staying at a hotel, so it was a little scary having someone you don't know come to the hotel room. I was given Carmen, who did most of the walks. She was lovely and so easy going. My dog enjoyed the walks but was a little lonely for me. I asked her to brush him because he loves that. She did an hung with him in the hotel room a little to make him feel comfortable. She was totally trustworthy.<br>I had Kris (male) for one of the days, when she wasn't avail. He took my dog to the park and carried him out of the crowded hotel. It helps my dog is 12 pounds and he is so cute and friendly. Kris loved him and kept texting me days later because my dog hadn't gone to the bathroom. He knew I was concerned. I recommend this service highly. I was reading reviews and Jason's review here below describes exactly what happened to me. I had left a positive review as I was asked to do it, but now it's time to leave a proper one after I have used the service for few months. <br><br>Main points of concern:<br><br>1. Walker asked after few days of service to write a review for him so he would get a bonus. As soon as I wrote the review the quality of the service went down the drain.<br><br>2. Turnover is terrible. I saw 6/7 walkers in a two-month time frame. <br><br>3. GPS sometimes doesn't work, and when it does some of the walkers stated fake times. One time the walker went out for 6 minutes and reported he was out for more than 30 mins. Dropcam doesn't lie... luckily.<br><br>4. Walkers are not trained and many of them are young students who use Swifto as a side job to earn some money. More...

I've been using Swifto for about 2 years - they are the most reliable service I've ever used in any capacity. My dog might love Kelly more than he loves me and I think I'm ok with that. Everything about Swifto makes my life easier: the billing system, the ability to request and change walks online, the availability of substitute walkers, the responsiveness of Kelly and the team in the office, and most importantly the commitment and care they show for the dogs they walk....I could go on forever (Bonus because Kelly has snapped the best photos of my dog that exist to date). I can't speak to the quality of other dogwalkers in NY because I would never bother to try anyone else... I have been using Swifto for over a year now and love love love them! Though we've been through a few different walkers over this time, each and every one has been amazingly attentive to my pup Hazel and has shown her the same love that I give her. This service has put my mind at ease when it comes to caring for my fur baby. Our current walker, Katherine Smith (#26219), has been the best with Hazel. Katherine has great energy that I know Hazel loves and takes full advantage of on their daily walks and, if it's rainy, playing inside.  I would recommend her, or anyone at Swifto, to someone looking for a dog walker! Ok, I usually don't need a dogwalking service, but I was down and out with food poisoning and couldn't get out of the house. I googled "last minute dog walking" and found swifto. After calling to set up a walk for as soon as possible, my profile on the website said I had a walk scheduled for 12:30. As the time came and went, I refreshed the page and now saw that my walk was scheduled for 2:30. Again, time passed and I refreshed once again and saw 3:30 this time. At this point I considered just canceling, but was afraid of paying a fee. Eventually I got a text saying someone had agreed to walk the dog at 3:30. Since it was my first time using the service, I didn't realize how the system worked so I had been expecting someone since 12:30. Honestly, getting someone to my house within 3 hours was pretty good - I just wished the website had been a little more clear. After using several different dog walking companies I really think that Swifto is the best.  Our walker, Louise, is super attentive, on time, and really truly loves our dog Chewy.  She also provides us with amazing artsy shots of Chewy while they are walking.  I love the Swifto app and how professional it is, I get a text when Louise has started walking Chewy and I can also see if he has met other dogs during the walk, and where they went.  <br><br>Swifto also has great customer service, they are always reliable and will quickly find a replacement walker if Louise is out sick or on vacation.  Really great quality service for a great price!  I highly recommend it!
