Love this spot, located in the bottom of a hotel in the beautiful downtown area of Detroit. Staff is nice. They have fresh baked goods and good coffee. Parking available on the street.

Haven't been to Olde Towne Pub since BC (before COVID). Stopped by the other night for a nightcap and learned they have specials during the Sunday games, so decided to return. We were glad to see they survived COVID. Some of our favorite places did not.I ordered Nathan's mini dogs (2 for $5), a beef taco ($2 ea.), and the garlic mussels ($8). Hubby ordered the personal pizza, which was substantial and came out with a crispy crust (we've gotten pizzas at other places with undercooked crusts and sent them back to the oven) and the Wings, which come buffalo style or BBQ, garlic parm, or mango habanero). Hubby had the garlic parm. The Sunday football menu also includes Bud light draft ($3) and White Claw seltzers ($4). The pub is housed in one of the historic buildings in downtown Bordentown. There's an upstairs bar and another dinning area upstairs as well. There is also outdoor covered seating. This is a really nice place to bring a date, especially at night. It's beautiful inside. They also have device charging stations at the bar.We decided we'd watch the game and then order additional food for takeout. The game specials food was okay, but nothing spectacular. I would have liked a richer sauce for my mussels (try Jimmy's - omg! The white sauce is so rich and delicious, I've taken it home and freezed it to use it for fish stew). The two waitresses were very pleasant patient, and attentive. They remembered my husband likes flavored beers and brought over a craft beer to taste without our asking.Their craft and domestic beer list is available online. I saw IPAs, lagers, and Belgium wheats. Overall this is a nice place to come to. We've had other dishes here that were quite good. They take old favorites and add a unique twist. Last night my party of 6 went to the OTP, and had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, polite and happy to accommodate our party even without a reservation. We got there at the tail end of happy hour. Bar was full of what to appeared to be regulars camped out. Standing room only at the bar upstairs. We were seated close to the bar and it was annoying to have people standing around / over us while I'm trying to eat. Pizza is really good but the rest of the food is mediocre at best. The menu is extensive with lots of great sounding options but don't expect more than basic, run of the mill, standard pub fare. First time here as it was a good meeting point for me and my friend. Parking lot filled up early and drove around several times with no spots opening up. Ended up finding something on the street ultimately so make sure you give yourself enough time for parking. Jackie was our server and she was so nice and had a great personality. The menu was quite varied which was very surprising and they also ran a $0.75 wing special which was awesome, we took advantage. We had some issues when scanning the QR code ( the prior tables order popped up and the beer menu said unavailable when clicking the page). Never been anywhere around Jersey. This place will always be a spot I frequent when in the area. Food is great and the atmosphere has a very nice old pub feel. But, what really makes it is the service. The bar, wait, and kitchen staff are just spot on. The bartenders in particular were some of the nicest people I've met. Hardworking and friendly to a fault. I don't want to forget the small upstairs bar which is great for a private gathering and the beautiful outside seating in the cool weather. All that and a great little band on the weekend. Very disappointing. We had reserved a round table for six for dinner at 7 pm and the restaurant gave our table to a group that decided to move outside for drinks. They stuck us at very tight table. Old Town Pub was an excellent establishment! Went in in on a Thursday night for trivia and got a lot more than what we expected! Amazing menu! So many various options for both food and drink! Water was already on the table, LOVE THAT! The espresso martinis were divine! I had the clam linguine entree is was great! So much clam and so much flavor! French onion soup eaters would understand when I say it's hard to get it perfect but they have found a way!! Would 100% recommend and will go back! The more I come here the more I discover things I love. Already talked about ahí tuna nachos. Given order every time. The French dip surprised me how good it was. Fish tacos looked better than they tasted. I asked for them fried but when I checked they were grilled and cold with cold carrots and I think squash slices? I hope to bump up this rating in the near future because I want this place to succeed and I think it has potential. The good: live music on weekends. Awesome tap selection with unique craft beers, and friendly, attentive Servers. The reason for only 3 stars (today)? The food. The food has just been not good. Juan was our server, I walked in alone because my husband was parking. Almost immediately Juan came over to check and see if I needed anything. We hit it off right away. Bordentown is a high traffic area and difficult to find parking. We shared some chats, I spoke to the owner then hubby finally arrived. Juan was amazingly attentive and personable and super kind. Amazing service! We sat upstairs and it was a Monday night. The establishment serves a lot of fish and you will take in the aromas of fish as you enter the staircase. The atmosphere is clean, and gives the sense of a New England east coast feel. Our cocktails Burst of flavors. We had a specialty cocktails, loved them. I went here tonight and sat right down at the bar. Bartenders very friendly and make delicious drinks. They recommended a local beer called Magnify and it was so good. It had a sour taste like a candy and sweet. I loved it, definitely gotta try that. Also had some peach lemonade vodkas, they were like drinking lemonade, coding even taste the alcohol but definitely felt something. Very good.I ordered the OTP Filet Sandwich which was pieces of steak, mushrooms, grilled onions and cheese on a brioche bun. It was so good, the steak was perfect and it went well with cane mushrooms and onions. It came with fries and they were so thin, crispy and delicious. My husband is super picky about his fish & chips and loves OTP's. Their shredded chicken tacos are also delicious! Do yourself a favor & try the loaded house made tater tots & drunken shrimp skewers. They're super yummy. The place is nice & super clean; our servers are always friendly & efficient. Their cocktails are very good too. We have never ordered anything there that disappointed us. This was a fabulous Christmas Eve surprise. My amazing wife took me for a little lunch date. And wow! The food was phenomenal.
