I wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars! Chef Coleman knows what he’s doing. The service is always exceptional (ask for Devin, she’s always the best! ), the atmosphere is perfect, but the food… we’ve now been for dinner, lunch, and brunch; everything is always great but they easily have the best brunch around. Got a little sneak peak of Old Town's newest gem today and it was awesome! The spot is so beautiful on the inside, the decor, lighting and the colors make it so warm and cozy. Our server Leslie was awesome, and very attentive along with the rest of the staff. Now for the food... We started off with a bag of shake fries with the togarashi spice and it was awesome. Very unique flavor. The fried onions, okra and banana peppers were delicious, the breading is spot on and definitely the star of that dish. There was a mix up with our appetizers going to the wrong table, which was no biggie at all, but I really loved that they held our main courses so we had time to enjoy the appetizers when they finally came out, versus sending it all out at once. Entrees he did pork on a stick with the cold squash + golden rice & gravy. I had the chicken tenders with the Swiss fondue mac & green apple slaw. The Mac was amazing, the slaw was a little different than what I was expecting and not my personal favorite but my partner smashed it. Both dinner plates came with these delicious sweet Hawaiian rolls that has some sort of caramelzation on the top that was a great addition. The star of the show was dessert though... I have never had warm banana pudding before and I'll tell you what... this ish was slap your mama good. Hell maybe even your grandma. The meringue on top was toasted to perfection and that treasure trove that was buried beneath it was 🤌 *chefs kiss* The trashcan cookie was also delish but I'll be dreaming about that banana pudding till I return. I unfortunately couldn't try any cocktails today but the menu looked delicious and I can't wait to come back and try them(with a side of banana pudding)! They had a nice beer and wine selection as well. 10/10 would reccomend and I hope Old Town Kitchen & Cocktails does amazing on their new downtown venture! More...
