I'm not sure why I put it off. I enjoy almost everything on a sushi restaurant menu. Okashi has all the best stuff from your favorite rolls combined into a very generous portioned bowl. You get to pick everything you want however I chose a premade bowl called an Aloha bowl which had a bot of everything.  Very fresh and tasty ingredients and the staff was awesome as I pointed out I had never been and they were eager for me to ty. Sooo good. Got half salmon and half tuna. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. I wish I didn't get the tempura on top but that was my own fault. Will definitely be coming back!

If you're not looking to go to Fuji's for all you can eat sushi, but still want some raw fish, Okashi Fusion is the place to go. It's the only poke place that I know of in the Solano County area. When I go there, I usually order the large (more for my buck), double salmon, with everything except for the wasabi, and ginger. This is my go to sushi Delivery order from Yelp. I've noticed that with some delivery options you asked for example double meat and you can clearly tell they haven't given you double meat. this place is not like that the food is extremely delicious when I order for example a salad  it comes back really crisp!  the portion sizes are very indicative of their prices so a $14 bowl it's gonna be good enough for 2 people with all that yummy rice. I love it it's great your pay for great quality food.Being a prior food inspector in Texas I can tell you that the texture and  the quality of a fish is right on target and well above with approval standards from the FDA so you're not going to get sick. I tried okashi today for the 1st time and I will be coming back as soon as I give birth lol Because I am pregnant the guy there offered to cook the salmon,which they dont do. But becuase I wanted to eat fish so bad and the only way I could satisfy my craving is to eat cooked fish. It was a great experience that they would go out of the way to make me enjoy my experience. Pros: The quality of the fish is good. The large sized bowls are filling. It's a good location, nice atmosphere. There is a moderate amount of toppings. Cons: You get two proteins, whereas in other Poke bars you get three, for a large bowl. You get charged extra for sea weed salad, this is uncommon at Poke bars. And it is a bit pricey. Soooo, I was out here taking my Mama to Urgent care with my girl and we went to the sushi place right next door while waiting for my Mom to get done at the doctor. Let's just say we were not the most satisfied, so when my Mom got done we told her we shouldn't go there and being from Hawaii we decided to check out Okashi Fusion. Honestly I have no idea how I missed it I walked right past it. Soooooooo glad that we did! They had fresh delicious poke bowls and my Mama said it tastes like home. Oh boy how I love poke bowls!! This place is bomb dot com. I love how they let you choose from a bar, rather than having the bowl combinations set up for you. This lets the customer have creativity and options! First you choose a base for your bowl: brown rice, white rice, salad, etc., or a mix of 2! Then you choose a protein such as salmon, ahi tuna, spicy tuna, tofu...you get the gist. Then you add your toppings/other goodies. They have multiple goodies to choose from to add to your bowl including: edamame, seaweed salad, avocado, cucumber, green onion, white onion, bacon, vinaigrettes, mayos, other sauces...the list goes on. I was quite the happy camper.The staff was friendly and efficient. They greeted me as soon as I was walking up to the counter. Here, they make your bowl in front of you and hand it to you. Then you choose a place to sit. It's a little more casual, but I'm into it.I came during lunch happy hour. I guess every Monday thru Wednesday from 2-5pm they have a happy hour on the poke bowls. I spent less money on a regular size poke bowl than I thought I was going to have to spend. The only critique I'd give is the amount of protein in my bowl was a little smaller than I expected, however, I can't deny the hustle. This was my 1st visit on 8/17/19. I was greeted right away. An Asian girl served me first. She was friendly, cheerful, patient, adaptable and explained their ordering system thoroughly. I ordered a full size Hawaiian poke bowl. It had half & half white & brown rice, unagi & garlic ponzu sauce, miso shrimp, imitation crab, sliced cucumbers, green onion, white ginger and fried onion. Added seaweed salad & tofu for 50 cents each. Then topped it all off with extra spicy mayo.Everything was delicious but the only thing was that it was very spicy. I underestimated the spice level in both the tuna & mayo. Next time I'm gonna order non-spicy and also next time I'm not gonna combine both the unagi & garlic ponzu. (Either one or the other)All of the employees were friendly and had excellent customer service. They must love working here. Clean restaurant. I'm gonna give it an overall rating of 4.5 stars. I've gone here several times. The latest was via Postmates delivery. Everything looked great upon delivery. I got white rice with ahi, tako, seaweed, ginger, onions, and sesame seeds with ginger ponzu sauce. It tasted fine, but could've used more sauce. And the ahi didn't look like ahi I'm used to when I make poke at home myself. The only reason why this didn't get 5 stars is because it didn't blow me away. I tend to like poke more traditional and with poi, not rice. I would still come back as this is the better poke bowl place in the area. I would recommend a visit here. More...
