I decided that my dog, Sabre although having good temperment, was a little strong willed. I spoke and then met with trainer Jonathan prior to dropping him off. He was professional and previewed training also assured me that he would address the behavior I was most concerned about. I felt very comfortable and confident that he and Sabre would work well together and had no hesitation leaving him. I appreciated the Jonathan kept me updated on the training plan regularly. We are so happy we decided to enroll our 1 year old unaltered male Labrador Bentley in the e-collar 2 week board and train program! He is very sweet and super smart…too smart for his own good. He gets bored easily requiring a lot of stimulation. We had undergone some private obedience lessons when he was 6 months old. But, as he continued to grow it became apparent he needed more. He absolutely LOVES people and thinks everyone who comes to the door is there to see him. At 100 lbs of pure muscle, endless energy and unchecked enthusiasm he was somewhat intimidating and slightly dangerous to our guests. We were told about Off the Leash training and looked into it. As many people who first hear about e-collar training, we were nervous about using a ”shock” collar to control our beloved boy. We soon learned that it was not shock therapy but a valuable tool to aid in the obedience training he so badly needed. We were fortunate enough to be assigned to Kassandra who took Bentley into her home and performed magic! Her set up was great. She has a freestanding air conditioned kennel with separate runs for the two dogs she trains. It was so clean you could eat off the floor! She has a bubbly but relaxed and confident personality. We felt immediately comfortable with her and had no problem leaving Bentley in her care. She sent us videos of his progress throughout the two weeks of training. We were amazed to see our exuberant boy sitting quietly off leash in the middle of Home Goods and The Mall with people shopping all around him. When we picked him up we were given a very thorough lesson on how to continue his training. He now has excellent door manners and is a pleasure to take on walks. We enrolled our Dalmatian (Floki) into the 2-week board and train with Ernie and to be short, we were blown away. Before even enrolling Ernie sat down with us and answered all of our questions and concerns. It was a big commitment letting Ernie train Floki for 2 weeks and he definitely put our minds at ease. Throughout the training process Ernie was in contact with us at all times giving us updates and was there to talk whenever we missed Floki. We cherished each update video and picture. The results from just 2 weeks of training were amazing. Floki knows what he is suppose to do and responds on the first command now. It was an investment in our fur baby and it was completely worth it. We can do more things with Floki and go more places knowing he will listen to commands. I cannot express how much Off leash K9 has changed my experience with my dogs. Both of my boys, a 1 yo boxer (75 lbs) and 2 yo golden retriever (100 lbs), trained with Johnathan in Orlando. I could never walk my dogs on my own because of their size, and now I’m able to walk the two of them, plus my third dog, at the same time because of this training. I LOVE taking them out and bring them wherever I can. I get asked ALL THE TIME what my secret is and the answer is always the same - Off leash k9. Nick was also super attentive and accommodating while organizing my board and train experience, and all the trainers I’ve come across locally have been wonderful and friendly. We got a dog from the pound and she’s wonderful with people and terribly aggressive with other dogs. We did our research and luckily found a top notch dog trainer just miles from our home. I spoke to Asia and a gentleman at Off The Leash and felt very comfortable with our decision to proceed. We were desperate to stave off any dog aggression and to have a dog that we could take with us with us mountain biking, hiking, and wherever else we chose to go. Our dog is a big part of our family and wanted a well disciplined dog so that we all could enjoy our freedom. Asia was amazing! We brought Our 5 month old Belgian Malinois Nora to K9 off leash for the 2 week board and train. When we brought Nora here she was so difficult to walk on a leash we had to stop walking her. She would try and chase cars, bite and tug the leash, and even lay down and fight us. Taking her out into our fenced backyard was difficult. Nora would run around and dig holes and tear up the lawn instead of going to the bathroom. This was very frustrating especially at 4 or 5am when she would even come when calling her! Asia was very good with keeping me updated on how Nora was doing and at times I couldn't believe the videos I was seeing of Nora's progress. Well, our 2 weeks are up and I have a brand new well mannered dog now! We took her for a walk last night OFF LEASH!! It was the most amazing feeling in the world to be able to walk your dog and enjoy every minute of it! And she loved it too! The confidence we both had was awesome! Home life was pretty good too! Being able to sit and chill when we want but also having our playtime. We love our Nora and going through this obidiance training has made both her and Our family in balance and harmony! Recently, we sent our dogs to Off-leash K9 Training for the Board and Train program. It was hands down the best thing we could have ever done. We have a 5 year old Miniature Schnauzer, Duncan, who was always very anxious, very over protective of me, barked all of the time, couldn’t be brought out in public because he was so naughty, didn’t get along with any other animals (especially the other dog in the house) and wasn’t a fan of other people, especially men. We also have a 1 year old Boston Terrier, Jake, who had so much energy that he was always on the run. He also didn’t know any basic training commands. I was initially apprehensive to send our boys because of the collar they would have for training and the worry about how they would be treated while away for 2 weeks. Well... boy was I mistaken! The collar is a godsend and works so amazing and not harmful to them at all. At the intake, our wonderful and amazing trainer, Asia , explained everything to us to a “T”. She was very thorough in how the training process and collar would work. She put me at ease and even had us feel what the dog feels with the collar and it was just fine. She also asked us what our expectations would be with the training. Duncan was so naughty that I had very low expectations for him. I honestly didn’t think he was that trainable. Again... I was so wrong!! Asia was always in contact with me... sending videos and photos every single day... answered any questions or concerns that I had.... which was so wonderful! Just within the first 24 hours she had the boys, they had made such improvements! Each day that went by, we were just blown away at how they had progressed with the training and how good they were doing. She is such an angel to us and to our boys! She has completely turned them into different boys.... the best version that they could possibly be!! By the time we picked them up, they both knew all of their commands and they became best friends! Before sending them to the program, it was so stressful on a daily basis with them not being obedient and with them not getting along with each other. Now that the program is completed and we have been home for a few days.... its a complete 180 with how they are at home!! They can hang out in the same room as each other, they get to be outside and in our pool together and can go on walks together too!!! Asia has also been so helpful in answering any question or concern I have since we have been home. She is always available for us!! Before the training program, Duncan had to be on daily medication to help with his anxiety and he no longer has to be on them!! I joke around that if Duncan can be trained this good, any dog can!!! My friend recommended Off Leash K-9 when the dog I adopted started showing signs of aggression towards other dogs. I have owned dogs my entire life and have never had to send one to training so I was very hesitant. From the first call I made, I was impressed with their knowledge and service. Megan was my trainer. She is awesome!!! Sent me pictures and updates daily and always responded to my calls and text messages. My dog, Bella is very stubborn but she loved working with Megan. The day I picked Bella up we walked by 2 other dogs and she ignored them instead of lunging and barking at them. Megan took the time to explain each part of her training, how I can continue it and she’s always available for questions and training refreshers. We had our 6 month old Irish setter Poodle mix Duke, with Cassandra and could not be happier with the outcome. Duke was never aggressive or particularly bad (typical puppy behavior aside) but lacked a confidence that made training him to respond to even the most basic commands very challenging and often an issuance of a verbal command resulted in him dead fish flopping on the ground. Cute, if your puppy is 10-15 pounds, not cute when at 6 months your puppy is 45 pounds and occasionally accompanied the flop with a submissive pee. I was optimistic with all the reviews that I’d read that we’d receive a positive outcome but was honestly nervous that some of the issues we were dealing with might not in fact be behaviors that can be trained out of a dog but rather are just personality quirks that we’d have to grow to love (or tolerate). Well, we were happily and pleasantly surprised to meet a Duke at the end of his 14 day train and board who not only knew commands beyond even just the basics but also held his head a little higher and wagged his tail a little harder. Cassandra was very informative and thorough with our people training session and I especially appreciated that while Duke was with her we received regular updates and photos or videos that really showed his progress and that he was with someone who clearly had a special loving bond with him and genuinely cared as much as we did to see him gain confidence. Duke is still a bit like Eeyore and his body size at his current age have him awkwardly tripping over himself but still thinking he’s a lap dog but we are so very grateful to Cassandra for giving him the skills and us the know how to help us all grow in his journey to doggie adulthood. Absolutely Amazing!! We were on the verge of wanting to give back our 1 yr old rescue lab. She was so high energy and after breaking her leg developed some bad habits during her rehab. We couldn't walk her on a leash since she pulled so bad. My kids and their friends would have to hide in their rooms since she jumped on everybody that came in the house. She also started digging holes in the back yard. Then came Asia to the rescue!!! She sent us video updates daily so we could see the progress. We were all in shock that our dog was capable of being that good! Since getting her back from the 2 week board and train the kids don't hide in their room with their friends, I can let people in the house without them being jumped on, I gladly walk my dog every morning, and I let her hang out in the front yard unleashed while doing yard work. Getting two GSDs while also expecting our first born pushed us to send both of our puppies to the board and train program. Abbey was absolutely wonderful with them, sending us videos, pictures, and keeping in constant contact. We were worried about behavior changes as we love our puppies’ personalities, but they came back to us exactly the same, just better trained! Their listening skills have improved so dramatically that I feel comfortable taking them both around town by myself at 34 weeks pregnant (which definitely was not the case before). Previously, outings were stressful with two hyper pups trying to get into anything and everything, but now they are so much more enjoyable to take to the store, parks, restaurants, etc. They love being out with us and we love that we can do so comfortably, knowing that they’ll listen and obey when we give them commands. Abbey even made specified adjustments to their training by taking them out on a boat (our favorite pastime), working on their double heel (since they are together the majority of the time) and working on their heel with a stroller around (soon to be their reality). Please don't hesitate to do this! We put off this training due to fear our girls wouldn't come back with their goofy personalities. Cassandra was our trainer that I specially asked for after watching all her training videos for nearly a year! She is absolutely AMAZING!!! She took the time to listen to our concerns for each dog and stayed in constant contact texting, sharing pictures and videos on a daily basis. It was stunning to see the progress on a daily basis. The turner over back to us was extremely informative, Cassandra actually trains the owners as well which I think is the hardest part of her job. She will also stay in contact with you after the dogs come home. She will provide guidance and even do a recap session during this adjustment period. truly can't say enough, Cassandra loves her job, has astounding patience and by far the best trainer ever. I have been raving about Off Leash Training since we dropped our 5 month German Shepherd puppy off for the 2 week board and train program. Our trainer Cassandra has been amazing from the moment we dropped her off. We got a tour of where she’d be staying and daily picture and video updates while she was away which I needed with how much I worry. After we picked her up she was actually listening and not such a stubborn little diva. Not only are we happier but she is too. Now she can actually go out and adventure with us and loves “working”. When our new puppy started showing aggression and nipping with constant barking at people and sounds, we became frustrated and concerned about our future together. I heard about K9 Offleash thru extensive research on dog training. See, we were moving from PA to FL and either going to live in a mobile home community or campground. (Campground won) We knew our dogs were in no way suited to the camping, always around people/dogs, lifestyle. After looking at many dog training programs in Florida, I came across K9. I spent an entire afternoon on YouTube, watching the before/after videos. After seeing the pit bull/German shepherd double heel (as we have a 4 1/2 year old pit & a 1 1/2 year old German shepherd .. bailey and kayne), I knew this was what my dogs needed. I requested more info and Cassandra, out of Melbourne, called me to discuss our options. We decided to go ahead, and although we were going to be in Orlando, I wanted to drive the extra distance as I was comfortable with Cassandra. Almost immediately I began seeing a change in my dogs. She would send a photo/video update every day so we could see their progress. Seeing them after their 14 day board and training, it is like night and day. They are not perfect by any means, but they have the core training instilled in them now that all we have to do is consistently work with them to be the model puppies I already know they are. I recommend this company and program to anyone looking to get that kick start you need for your disobedient puppies. Where do I even start What initially sparked our interest with off leash k9 was the 2 week board and train option. We hoped to find something that wouldn't cause us to be away from our fur baby for to long. Kodak our two year old German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute would take off if given the opportunity. We worried for his safety so always kept him on leash. Being big outdoors people, we decided to send Kodak to the 2 week board and train to have him be off leash. After 2 weeks with Abby, we picked Kodak up as a different dog. Same goofy Kodak, but now off leash and RELIABLE. I cannot express how happy we were with this program, and of course with Abby his trainer. She's confident, caring, and EXCELLENT at what she does. Asia was my initial contact. She was very professional and explained the 2 week board and train program. Abbey became Koda’s trainer and my trainer as well. I am a disabled vet with walking disability requiring bilateral leg braces and using a walker. I have a 60 lb purebred Siberian husky I lovingly refer to as my hunk hunk of burning love. He had been with a previous trainer for 9 weeks, that’s right, 9 weeks and I was not happy. Abbey was exceptional. She kept me informed with videos and texts. She never hesitated to answer my questions and assure me he was doing fine. When I got Koda back, Abbey thoroughly went through the commands and use of collar. In addition, she took the time to take us to Walmart neighborhood store, doggie daycare, and Lowe’s. What a difference from the previous trainer. Abbey, in my opinion, is a rockstar. I just got my seven-year-old boy Bandit back from his two week board and train from Loren of Off Leash Training in Melbourne Florida. I can’t really put to words the amazing job she did. To be honest I had my own doubts with Bandit being the age he is, you know the (can’t teach an old dog new tricks type deal), but when I got my first update I couldn’t believe what I saw. The updates were very consistent every day, not only showing me the improvement but also the fun he was having at the same time. I am so thankful for all of those updates. When I went and picked him up, I couldn’t believe the dog I now had but especially the time spent from the amazing trainer teaching me how to keep the amazing work up. I decided to do this training not only for myself and my family but mainly for my dogs quality of life. He has been such a happier dog from the time I have picked him up. One of my worries was that I was going to lose the outgoing personality my dog had but after having him home I realized he still has that wonderful personality. My German Shepherd, Saint, spent two weeks with his trainer, Cassandra, and we were immediately impressed with her updates (pictures, videos, texts) to let us know how he was doing. Saint seemed to be having so much fun and he was learning commands that we tried at home, but failed. By the end of the 2 week training program, we were shocked by how obedient he became, and how eager he was to behave. Cassandra spent the last day with us, going over all of the details, and made sure we were 100% comfortable with our part of Saint's continued, at-home training, to ensure that Saint would have no problem remembering what he was taught. Since we have had him home, we have practiced with him every day and we can now relax when our other pets are around him (2 small breed dogs and a cat). I never give 5 stars as there is always room for improvement and this will be ongoing training. However I have made an exception here. We dropped Thor our 16 month old Doberman off to Cassandra in Melbourne for the board and train . He basically had no manners and could not focus his attention very well. Cassandra explained the complete training cycle and what to expect. She updated us daily with his progress and personality traits, even sending video. When we picked him up, she walked us through the commands and how to use the proper tools and techniques to keep him on track. I would highly recommend this course of obedience training for anyone who is willing to follow through and continue to train with their Dogs. That is the key here. You must be willing to continue the training. Dogs are like children, they want to please you, but you have to continue to provide structure for growth. Thor was well cared for and the training is done in a loving relaxed setting. I look forward to continuing his training and a relationship with Off Leash K-9 Training. All I have to say is...AMAZING!!!! My husband and I chose to do the 2 week board and train. Cassandra with Off the Leash Training gave my dog Ollie the obedience tools to help me focus more on his tasks to become a service dog, instead of his crazy puppy behavior! I had placed my trust in a different organization that claimed that they were professional trainers, but we soon found out that this was not true. That was when my husband and I talked, and agreed that Off the Leash Training was the best fit...and boy were we right!!! Cassandra was understanding of our previous misfortune, and assured us that Ollie (standard poodle) would come back to us in 2 weeks a totally different dog. Before Off the Leash Ollie would play bite all the time, jump on everyone, pull on the leash, and bark at everything! We started calling him the “sniper,” because someone would walk by and he would quickly take a small nibble of their hand or clothes. Ollie was going to be my Service Dog one day, but first he needed Obedience really, really bad!!!! When we went to pick up Ollie; Cassandra explained everything in detail. She was so patient we me and my husband! Ollie came home a totally different dog, and his obedience is now top notch!!! I’m now able to work solely on his task training, because his obedience is no longer an issue. Cassandra has even answered my text messages and she has met up with me to help reassure me and boost my confidence that I’m doing everything right. All I have to say is...thank you Off the Leash Training, and a HUGE THANK YOU to Cassandra for all that you have done for me and my family, especially Ollie!!!! I found OFLK9 through web search for my area. I was a little hesitant at first because of the price. Well let me just say after the full 8 weeks of training I received with Cassandra, that it was worth every penny. The outcome definitely exceeded my expectations. I cannot say thank you enough to Cassandra. Before this my Ramsay was a super distracted, excited, stubborn little one. Taking him out on a walk was such a chore for me, he pulled constantly and would bark at any little movement. He’s been home two days nice and he’s a transformed dog. It’s pleasant to take him on walks, and even managed to take him out to a restaurant to eat with me today. Something i had seen others do with their dogs but never could I imagine doing that with him. He just laid there so well behaved. I’ve gotten multiple comments on what a good and well trained dog he was, which also would have never happened before. I recently picked up my dog, BJ, from his two week board and train with Cassandra! I was sooooo nervous about leaving him as I’ve never been away from him more than one day since he was 5 days old! He had an AWESOME time with Cassandra and has made a complete transformation! He is obedient and loves practicing his commands. This was the best decision we ever made with our year old hound mix Stella! Nick was our trainer and he was amazing! Not only was Nick down to earth and explained everything to us so that we as owners could understand but you could see the love and respect Stella had for him! I can not say enough great things about the work that Loren has done with my 9, now 10mo Great Dane pup Ruckus. He went through the 2 Wk Board and Train. She was AMAZING with him! I've worked with him at least an hour a day, and often two hours a day since he came home. Make no mistake, it's a LOT of work but the training and support you get is the best starting point I could have ever asked for. The Saturday after Thanksgiving Loren came up to work with us for over an hour. It turns out Ruckus was doing great - it was me that needed a bit of help and it has made all the difference int the world! We've taken a few trips to Depot and Lowe's - some just wandering around and some just camping out and watching the world go by which is great practice for him. Today I used a training tip from Loren and now Ruckus and I can play ball instead of keep away! Again, I can't say enough great things about the work they did with Ruckus, but I feel I must punctuate that by saying you HAVE to follow through when you get your dog back and if you do it will pay off beyond your expectations! We are half way through our 8 week aggressive dog training. Our 80lb Boxer mix had some serious aggression issues to the point we were worried he would attack someone or another animal. I was the only one that could half way controll him and my husband just didn’t know what to do with him when he was acting up. It’s now a joy to walk with Maverick on a leash in our neighborhood and in the rv park. My husband now has the confidence to walk our pretty boy on his own. I cannot convey into words how much I love Cassandra. Our Daisy recently completed the two week board and train program with Cassandra. She is absolutely wonderful and sent us daily pics and videos of Daisy’s progress. The difference after only two weeks is incredible. She still gets so excited to see people but she isn’t jumping all over them anymore. I never would have believed Daisy would be able to hang out in the front yard of our home, unleashed, and just sit and watch people and dogs walk by. We went away to our cabin in the woods for the weekend and it was so relaxing not having to worry about Daisy running off while unleashed. Cassandra and Asia are awesome. Jaeger is much more confident, easy to walk and just all around better dog! They worked with my husband and I every step of the way, and even had some fun time with Jaeger on his last day!!!
