Off Leash K9 Training - Little Rock

Kimberly was an amazing trainer. She was always helpful and knowledgeable. And was always willing to answer questions whenever I needed help. Before I brought my dog Mabel to her I never even thought about taking her anywhere bc I couldn’t control her around other people. But Kimberly showed me how to communicate with Mabel in a way me and her both understood. It was amazing how much of a difference I saw I her just after the first couple of days working with her. I had her in a pet store one day and a lady came up to me and told me that I had a very well behaved dog. Before I started her training I would have never imagined ever hearing those words. Before her training was even complete I took her camping with me. There was so many people and animals around I though it was going to be a absolute nightmare trying to control her. But while we were at the campsite I was able to keep her off her leash and she always stayed close by. And there was plenty of distractions. We also hiked a very busy trail and even though she was on leash for this she stayed right by my side even though there were many people walking by petting her as they walked by but she never lost focus. Which was one of her many problems. This training has made life with Mabel a much more enjoyable experience for both of us. More...

Want to give a special thanks to Taylor. She did such an amazing job with Deltadawn our German Shepherd. She was so positive and straight forward on how she was gonna train her. I couldn’t believe in 2 weeks she was able to do exactly what Taylor said she would teach her. Our Ruby girl just got home from her 2 week board and train and we could not be any more impressed with the change in her behavior! She is like a different dog and for that I’m thankful. Our trainer took the time to show us what Ruby knows and how to correct her when needed. It was obvious that Ruby loves Kim, she even whined when she left. Our 5 year old couldn’t believe that Ruby didn’t tackle her when she came in for the first time after Ruby returned home. I cannot recommend or thank Kimberly with Off-Leash K9 Training enough for what she’s done for my two dogs. She has truly given me the greatest gift of well-behaved dogs, who just get better every day we work with them. Kimberly is the most knowledgeable, competent, patient and caring. Before Kimberly with Off-Leash, I could not walk my dogs without them pulling me to the ground. I was always so embarrassed to take them anywhere because they would act so crazy by pulling, barking, not listening to me, being so nervous weaving in and out of my legs, etc. I just remember being so frustrated and at my wit's end with my dogs, I could not take them anywhere. After Kimberly I can now walk my dogs downtown Little Rock, PetSmart, hike outside (on and off leash) with no problems. They now have manners inside and outside the house! I cannot tell you how proud I am of them, and I get complimented all the time about how well behaved they are. Kimberly really made the impossible, possible for me. Prue did the beginner and advanced classes! She had no structure in her life other than sitting for a treat, but that was it! Kimberly was our trainer throughout the process and helped in any way that she could. Next week is her last class and she can now sit, stay, down, off (a work in progress), through, sit pretty, spin, now, and extended stay! This process was work and it only works with the amount that you put into it, but in the long run it is better for you and your furbaby! I could not have ask for a better experience than I did with k9 Offleash Little Rock! They exceeded expectations!!!! I am really happy with what Kimberly was able to teach Max. It’s so nice now that I can enjoy him with out all the jumping and wild behavior. But more importantly I am so thankful for all the help after. I know coming home Max would test his limits and see what he could get away with and he did. But Kimberly was there to answer all my question after we got home. She always answers my text and helps me with Max even now that he is home..... It’s really unbelievable. If someone had told me 5 weeks ago that my dog would lie down on the sidewalk of a busy highway, and ignore a group of children getting on a school bus, I would have laughed and bet money against it. Although my standard poodle knew several commands, he had a very difficult time in public especially after he and I were attacked by another dog. The attack was the catalyst to start training, he was terrified of other dogs, and honestly so was I. I had no expectations starting training with Kimberly, who is really great & always answers my training questions very quickly. She has given me the tools and knowledge to implement training at home, set realistic expectations, and helped us change our lives. We used to live our life around our dog, allowing him to dictate everything, now we live our lives with our dog. OLK9 is wonderful......I was really hesitant about taking my dog Max and leaving him with someone I just met. But I knew something had to be done. Max was just getting to be too much for me to handle and I wanted to take him places with me but it was getting to the point where I could not because he would get so excited with new people and places that I was having a hard time hanging on to him. Dropped him off with Kimberly and she preformed magic with my dog. She kept me informed on how he was doing and even kept him a couple extra days because he was not where she wanted him to be. He was doing well but she wanted him to be great!!! And I am so happy with what she did. I can not tell you what a joy it is to come home and have Max not jumping and carrying on like a wild child. Just got Piper, our 9 month old Belgian Malinois, back from Arkansas k9 Off Leash 2 week board and train program. We are so pleased! Before taking her to Kimberly, Piper was sweet and adorable, but pretty much did as she pleased. Though we had worked with her and she knew some commands,I think she just didn’t understand what we were wanting her to do. Now she does! She’s got her same spunky, loving personality, but she obeys us! And Piper is sure loving all the praise she is now getting for following commands. It’s a win-win! I am 67 years old, and my husband is 68. We knew when we decided to get a breed with as much spunk and energy as a Malinois that we might need some help with training. Best trainers and training program we have found! Two of our three dogs have been to board and train so far and the difference is amazing! Our stubborn little older dog (a rescue who never had any real training) now comes when called and isn’t as aggressive toward other dogs. And our Berner pup is following all his commands at 6 months old like a dream puppy. We couldn’t be happier and are so grateful for the help and great communication we have received from Brooke, Becca, and Kimberly! Love this place! I had sent my husky to a board and train when she was 4 months old. They literally taught him nothing unless you were bribing her with hot dogs. Tried to do follow up training and nothing worked. Due to this, my husband didn't want to do another Board and Train but said we could try the Basic/Advanced package. This has changed my dog and my relationship with her drastically. We now go hiking off leash, she goes to restaurants with me and will sit under the table and not move. I am currently teaching her how to pull a small wagon by using the same techniques they showed during the basic/advanced training. My GSD has worked with this company several times, starting at 8 weeks old. Ive never owned a better animal. He can literally walk through a department store and never be distracted. Ive had him off the leash, around some of the most misbehaved dogs you've ever seen, and my dog isn't phased. Its like we're telepathically connected, 99.9% he does every command I give, without hesitation.I swear, I can put him in a down command, walk into a restaurant, have lunch, come back and he'll be there waiting. Very lucky to have found. We sent my husky to a different board and train a year ago and did not get any of the desired results. My husband didn't want to do another board and train thinking it would be wasting money again so we did the Basic and Advanced package. After only 3 lessons, our dog is completely different. She comes when called. We can eat in front of the tv on the floor and she no longer tries to see what we are eating. My favorite though is I can now run with her. Being a husky, she used to pull on her leash so bad I couldn't hold her at times and that was with a no pull harness.
