Five stars for Off-Leash K9! Our new puppy, a cocker spaniel named Beau, was super sweet but had horrible manners that I couldn’t seem to get control of myself. Off-Leash took him in and lovingly taught him how to be a good boy. We are beyond thrilled with the result. Beau is so polite and well behaved now! We had the best experience with off leash K9 Training! Starting from the beginning Frank answered all my Questions and help me understand all the different packages they offered he also answered any questions I had before the board and train in a very timely manner. We went with the 2 week board and train and Kasey was Amazing! We received nightly updates of Stormi which made us feel at ease while she was gone. These were really good updates and really made us feel like we were part of the journey as well! Kasey made sure at the end of the drop off that we understood everything we needed to know. She answered every question and never made us feel like it was a rushed process. We love that Kasey also still answers our questions on anything we have even after Stormi is home and in a timely manner. Never thought my golden retriever Goose that we got from the shelter would ever be able to be an obedient dog after getting him. In the first couple weeks we got him he ran away multiple times, was jumping on counters, and was terrible on the leash. After the first training session I was in complete shock, already he was a completely new dog. I could never thank Madison enough she was amazing with Goose. Now he is so obedient and is completely off leash! Madison was my trainer for my dog brownie and she did a wonderful job!! Before Madison, brownie would always pull on walks and he would constantly jump on people and with the training Madison gave him he is doing so much better at listening and obeying. I also really like that if I ever have a question, I’m able to talk to Madison to get the answer. She is very detailed and explained everything to me in a way that made sense. It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for this experience! Madison was wonderful to work with and treated Reba like a Queen! I cannot believe the skills she learned in two weeks. She really is a different dog: more confident, relaxed, eager to please, and ready for outings which used to scare her. We had an amazing experience with Off Leash and our dogs’ trainer, Madison. The team was so easy to work with from start to finish. Madison’s skills as a trainer were incredible to watch and she literally transformed our dogs!! Our two dogs, while sweet and loving, lacked manners and social skills. We can now confidently take them for walks, have guests enter without it being complete chaos, and just enjoy a much calmer day to day! Madison showed care and compassion and the most incredible patience. It was hard to be away from them for two weeks but she sent comprehensive daily updates and videos that showcased their progress. Madison was amazing with our lab. She always updated us with progress of our little guy. We had two dogs, one a puppy and one 7 years old. The puppy was learning from her sister but the difference is in some of their habits, the puppy was much more stronger than the older dog. As a result, we needed some help to train our dogs. Micah at Off Leash was wonderful! In addition, the owner made it so easy to sign up and made time for any questions or concerns. Look into Off Leash as there are several options to choose from. My dogs are still learning as we have to be strong on continuing the training. Recently, we got our 6 pound Morkie, Theo, trained through this company. Theo’s trainer was Madison, and we are so impressed with the results he had from this training. We did the 2 week board and train program, and he is now so obedient and walks off leash like a champ. It makes our walks outside and our household a lot more peaceful. When we adopted Maverick at one year old, he had not received much training and was a real handful to control. I reached out to Off Leash K9 and was immediately impressed by the time they took to explain their program to me. When I hung up, I signed up Maverick for training and boarding right away. We were contact by Victoria (our trainer) who sent us all the specifics to prepare our dog for the training experience. No thank you. Any place that right off the bat puts an shock collar on a dog and encourages it to be worn from sun up to sun down is not a trainer. Training takes time and effort and cannot be corrected by force in a matter of days. I will say they seem to be nice people however without the option to even opt out of the shock collar I will be looking elsewhere. More...

I have two very stubborn french bulldogs. Vader was leash trained but had issues with running away and not coming back until he wanted to. Lola pulled so bad on a leash it made walks miserable and we couldn’t take her anywhere. Both dogs had obidence issues with simple commands (sit, stay, place). I signed both dogs up for basic 4 week program after being referred and I can’t say enough how much it helped us. We can walk without a leash now on the back 40 in Bella vista with no issues. We no longer have issues with recall and can have them sit and stay without moving until we say so. We don’t have to drag long leashes or leads anymore when visiting family or friends and we can bring them to all events with 100% confidence. No matter what issues you have with your dogs these trainers will be able to help you shape a great dog. Cooper and I are so lucky we found Off Leash K9 Training. Coop had some basics down as a 5 year old pup... So I thought. Upon graduating their basic training Cooper and I were much more trained and polished. The crew at Off Leash K9 Training are great in many ways but here are a couple that helped us:1. We need as much training as the dogs. Raising a pet that is enjoyable takes a lot of time and having the resources they provide for the dog and us is invaluable. It makes the often overwhelming process very enjoyable. 2. They treat us and our pets with with such great respect that you can’t help but wanting to do and learn more. Every lesson is practical and enjoyable. Four short lesson and our Aussie-doodle went from out of control to , come, sit, heel, off, down and place. This Aussie-doodle lives on 60 acres and truly is off the leash. With the help of Marshall and Paul; in four easy lessons we have a dog that obeys commands AND herds a round ball on command. I was pleased that the training method is heavy on praise and uses the training collar as a gentle reminder to the dog to get there head up and pay attention. We are about four weeks post training and our Aussie-doodle can now have new people to the farm and with only a slight encouragement using the “off”command he waits until the person reaches down to pet him. When we started looking for training for our then 7 month old dane, Striker we talked to a few different ones. The first time I spoke to Matt on the phone I knew he was the one we wanted! I asked for a meet and greet, that is when we met them both and they met our Striker! You could see the love for dogs in both Matt & Brooke. We had to wait about a month for Strikers date to go into their 2 week board and train. After he went we talked to them daily getting updates on Striker. When he came home WOW we are still amazed at our baby and the work Matt & Brooke done with him! Matt and Brooke did amazing with my golden retriever, Cooper!!! My wife and I first met Matt and Brooke with our 10 week old german shepherd puppy, Ava. We went in for a puppy consultation and Matt was a huge help in showing us how to relate to our puppy at this young age.

Flash forward to 6 months old and we did the 2 week board and train for Ava. We got nightly updates (text messages, videos, photos) on how Ava was doing. It was Ava's first snow fall and Matt and Brooke were kind enough to send us pictures of her playing in the snow. When we picked her up two weeks later, we were walked through everything she had learned and demoed how to continue reinforcing her newly learned skills.

Ava is about to turn a year old now and Matt and Brooke have continued to be a great resource for us. I have suggested them to numerous friends and highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their relationship with their canine companion. More...

Great job with our pups. You can watch the videos; we have Pebbles, Jazz, and Sadie. All went through the 2 week board and train. Very happy with the results. Prior to this they would hardly listen, and you only took them on a walk if you really wanted to work out your arms. Now we can take them anywhere we want.
Jazz and Sadie are 2.5 years old. They just came home yesterday. They listen very well and are so much easier to handle. Their demeanor didn't change, just their behavior.
Pebbles is 7 months old. She's been home for 2 weeks. She's a stubborn puppy, but we're doing good. Just takes patience and persistence on our part.
About Matt and Brook. They have a genuine interest in your dog's training and health. One of our dogs needed to go to the vet. They let us know, asked us where she needed to go, and made sure she was ok. Their communication is amazing. You can see many pictures and videos of our dogs on their Facebook and YouTube pages, but there are so many more that were sent to us directly so we could see their progress. There was constant communication about their progress, where they've been, where they're going, and how they are. It's hard to leave your pups with someone else for 2 weeks, but they helped make it feel like they were closer.
With the training plan we used, we get help if we ever need it. I mentioned that Pebbles is kinda stubborn; Matt and Brooke have already made a trip to town to help us (was mostly us just learning the process), helped us more with her when they brought Jazz and Sadie home, and have scheduled another session with us to help with one more specific issue, at OUR convenience.
Lastly, if you are considering this for your pup, keep in mind your dogs are probably not going to be perfect angels after 2 weeks of training. They will have learned the behavioral skills they need, but you will have to work with them to reinforce them and make sure they listen to you. You will have training for yourself too, but it's absolutely worth it and Matt and Brooke are there if you need them.

I can't tell you how pleased Julie and I are with the progress Augie has made.

He can sit, stay, place and heel on command and his hyper active jumping will be the next thing we will work on at home.

I am an old high school psychology teacher, coach, vice principal and athletic director so I understand & appreciate your conditioning concepts.

This is our 4th German Shepherd dog... we have had them in our home since the early 1990's. We did obedience training with our first GSD, Heidi. It was a group class and was not nearly as effective as your one on one approach. You treated Augie as if he were your own.

Paul and Matt have completely turned our lives around in the most amazing way! My 3 year old lab Cannoli was terrified of other dogs after being attacked which resulted in some intense reactivity. I'm so impressed by how much love, work, and dedication Paul and Matt poured into my pup to help him overcome his reactivity. Never did I think I would trust Cannoli to be off leash, have amazing recall, and walk past another dog without completely losing it.
