John the host of the long-standing Monday nite Open Mic here is very talented and welcoming and even let me use his guitar. Yes set up great sound equipment and a high-end mic to make everyone sound good. There's even a mini setup ready to help the performer video themselves!he's been gracious and dedicated enough to run this open mic for 10 years and deserves therefore to be nominated for sainthood! the bartender Leah was very gracious and even allowed me to bring in a bunch of pies to share with everyone that were from a party I had attended, because the kitchen had closed! Above and beyond the call of duty and wise because it blessed everyone who wanted some, including birthday girl Evelyn! Great service and very accommodating! Had a small wedding luncheon/reception here on a Friday and Lisa, Katie and Leah took EXCELLENT care of us. The table was beautiful, the decorations were perfect and the cupcake table was amazing. This place really surprised me. On the main drag in Annapolis, I assumed it'd be a tourist trap but I stand corrected. I've been coming to Annapolis since I was in college and some buddies went to the academy (so. ..2004-2005) and have tried just about everything but never here.ANYWAY. Server was extremely friendly and I dare say their crab pretzel is better than Davis'. Also, I don't like reubens and my husband insisted I try a bite and while I'll still submit I don't like reubens, I sure as hell would order that reuben. Omg.... I grew up in Annapolis. I don't remember Obriens being this fun in my younger years. I really enjoyed myself. The dj played crowd appropriate music. The drinks were good. The waitresses were fun and appeared to really like working there.
