Had my wedding here 11-09-19 and they were phenomenal!! They were accommodating, and extremely helpful! Elyssa their coordinator was amazing. She answered any questions I had, and even offered suggestions or solutions to the usual wedding mishaps. Her team was so helpful as well!! I honestly cannot say a single bad thing about any of them or the Country Club. We had the whole upstairs and it was perfect. They assisted with the set up, and they made my vision come alive. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding or special event, seriously come here, you will not regret it!!! 11/09 we had our wedding here, and it could not have been more perfect!! We booked the whole up stairs and had both the Ceremony and the Reception at the club. We had a day wedding with a plated lunch. Their chef was absolutely amazing, and the lunch was delicious. Elyssa the event coordinator was fantastic, she was there for us every step of the way. You could really tell she cared about you and your event, and wanted to make sure everything is how it should be. She was quick to answer any question or concern that I had. Her and her team helped with the set up, and really helped turn my vision into reality. The area provided to get ready was beautiful, and gave ample opportunities for someone fantastic photos. I would recommend Oakwood to anyone looking for the perfect place to hold their wedding or any other special event. I had the wonderful opportunity to have Oakwood host my daughters wedding reception and it was one of the most amazing experiences I’ ve ever witnessed in my life. The event planner, (Ms. Elyssa Ezmirly) is one of the most experienced in the industry and although there were more people than expected, she and the staff handled it with an efficiency that was astounding, (while smiling the entire time.) Oakwood Country Club made our wedding feel like a dream! They were such an incredible staff to work with, and made even the silly little mishaps that happen during a day feel nonexistent. They were always willing to meet our needs and often did it with little to no charge! The inside of their facilities are wonderful & the price is incredibly inexpensive in comparison to other venues. The ONLY place we would have our wedding reception. The staff is kind and attentive, the atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, and the venue itself is beautifully appointed. Both of our parents had their wedding receptions here and we are so proud to carry on the tradition. There are other country clubs in the area that do a great job, but only Oakwood makes it a priority that you feel at home. Don't even get me started on the food. The only issue was some confusion over 2 prices that had been agreed apon at the beginning of this process. Prices were made right. The facility is beutiful, staff very helpful and service was excellent. Food was delicious as was the cake and cupcakes. Can not say how wonderful the wedding reception turned out.
