The carpet in the halls and stairs of our Park Slope brownstone co-op needed serious cleaning after some five years and tracking by children and pets. Yesterday NYC Local Carpet used deep cleaning to bring the carpet back to life, almost like new. David and his team at NYC Local Carpet were our saviors. Our apartment became infested with carpet beetles. They destroy everything made of natural fibers and took dead aim at our wool wall-to-wall rugs in our bedrooms. The carpets were less than three years old and installed during our remodeling process. The exterminators came in and evaluated the situation, told us we needed to have everything cleaned in our apartment as this was the only way to guarantee all the beetles would be eliminated. My wife and I took everything to the cleaners, and then evacuated our apartment for one week. The exterminators came in and tore our rugs from the floor, creating more damage to the rugs. The exterminators did not re-tack the carpets to the floor. They were also dirty from the exterminating process. We turned to Yelp! Found David/NYC Local Carpets and he was responsive and told us what we needed to do. He came to our apartment , evaluated the rugs, confirmed what we knew that the beetles and the exterminators damaged the rugs. His team came in, fixed the carpets, and cleaned them. The result was outstanding. You must look hard to the damage, and it is hard to find. The cleaning was excellent. They look like the carpets we purchased. While I would not recommend anyone getting carpet beetles, but if you do, or just need your carpets cleaned, David is your go-to-person. A++ in our book More...

These guys are INCREDIBLE!!! Called for same day service after another company cancelled on me an hour before scheduled time. They were willing to come at 8pm! I'm not saying they do this for everybody, it just worked out I think for their route. But either way, just the willingness to make it work like that is something you don't see much nowadays from anybody.My man, Patrick, who serviced us was great! Did excellent reliable work, even though my water pressure sucked. You should definitely hire these guys More...
